This knife is great for skinning game, and it alway good to have fresh scalpel quality sharpness. Especially when there are several hogs to clean.

Easy to use, very sharp. It does get dull cutting through elk and mule deer hair.Does a great job when cutting away the hide from the meat and for cutting the meat from the bone.Lasts a goodly amount of time before needing to switch to another blade.I've used a lot of different name brand knives for butchering big game and always end up wishing I had one more sharp knife.These changeable blades have solved that problem for me once and fur all!Make sure to pull the blade from the knife after butchering and clean the skin and meat from the area of the knife where the blade and knife come together. If you leave that chore for the next day and it dries like that, you'll pay heck trying to separate the blade from the knife.Very hot water will be your friend in that situation.

I am very pleased with these replacement blades! I have used my everyday carry knife for a couple of years now and I appreciate it very much. The blades do tend to become dull relatively quickly, depending on their use. However, replacing the blades is quick and easy. I would recommend these knife blade replacements if you require a very sharp blade frequently and lack the skill or time to sharpen a blade yourself.

Great product and super useful deer hunting

These Outdoor Edge knives are the only pocket knives I will use. They're just so convenient!4 stars because I feel like the quality has reduced ever so slightly over the last few years. Probably something to do with covid and inflation.
