I tried another lumbar support that was very thick and it would make me slide out of my seat. This lumbar is thin but it is the perfect thickness for me. I am a city bus driver that drives about 8-10 hours per day driving and this has really really helped my back. It is super soft comfortable. The size of it is also great. I love that it clips to the headrest so that it stays in place! Worth the investment in your health! Definitely recommend!

I chose this because of the size, shape, and strap location. I have unusual seats. This was narrow enough to fit between the seat bolsters. And I needed vertical straps to hang it, not straps which went around the sides.Some people said it's cheaply made. While I would certainly not say it's made extra strongly, it's reasonable for the price and seems like it'll hold up for a while.It was also said that this is not thick enough, whereas I wish it was thinner. But that's all personal preference, and I only like a very small amount of lumbar support.The main thing I would change is making the straps adjustable, so I can position it where I want it and have it stay. Now, I had to adjust it each time I sit in the seat.

I was looking for a thin lumbar pad because the 3-4 inch thick kind push me into a too-far forward position, even with the driver's seat slid all the way back, and cramps my leg room. This pad is thin and comfortable. But it can only be placed in one position because the straps aren't adjustable. In addition, the bottom straps on the seat anchors are too short to fit all the way through the seat opening to the rear compartment, even when stretched. My solution was to replace the straps and anchors with makeshift ones that put the pad in the best position for me. The straps need to be adjustable out of the box.

I have sport seats (Jeep Wrangler ‘24) and I put this on the seat, not the back. I scoot it towards the back so it’s under my rear end, not legs. Put a towel over it and it fixed leg and hip pain. I figured something small and fairly thin would do the trick and it did!

I ordered several pillows from Amazon and returned all of them except this one. The other ones were too big or thick and were not comfortable in the car seat.This one was much thinner and is just perfect for both our cars.If you have ordered other back pillows and found them too thick/big, then I would try this one.**2024 update**The pillows I bought in 2021 were fantastic and still are. I just ordered 2 more and they are BAD! They changed the stuffing to something stiffer and the pillow is a little bit bigger! Now it doesn't compress very much so it feels like you have a lump in your back! Not comfortable! They destroyed a great product :(

This review is by a 6'2" male who drives a 2019 Subaru Forester. I would get lower back pain after about an hour driving my SUV. The SUV's lumber support did not help. Adjusting the seat was inadequate. I was drawn to this product because it was not too thick but was a little worried about it after reading some of the negative reviews and was concerned because it was not adjustable. I decided that I would be able to figure out some way to lengthen or shorted the straps if necessary so I purchased it because the price was so low. Just got back from a 1300 mile trip where I was driving over 4 hours straight. It exceeded my expectations. For whatever reason it fit me perfectly without any adjustment. I could feel the perfect level of support the first time I sat down. It stayed in place without too much trouble. I don't like to give such lofty or lengthy reviews but pretty much had no choice here. I considered a Comfort demerit solely because it appeared to get hot but decided against it because my back probably would have gotten hot either way. If you're looking for a slimmer lumbar support go ahead and take a flyer on this one.

I bought this because the reviews indicated that it wasn't overly thick, like some of the memory foam support pillows can be. Depending on your back issue, you actually may only want a little thin pillow and one that is too large will make matters worse. Having said that, I actually wish this were just a little thinner. I suspect it might compress over time with use, so I am hoping that will be the case. Nonetheless, I imagine I may be the only person wishing it were thinner. However, I do not think I will be the only person who wishes the headrest straps were adjustable. The straps are far too long and the pillow therefore hits my back in exactly the wrong spot. I have to shift the pillow into place each time I sit in the car. A minor inconvenience if it will make my ride more comfortable. Likewise, the seat straps, which are meant to be slid inbetween the back and the seat to hold the pillow in place are much too short (because they assume the pillow should be all the way at the very bottom of your back) and I cannot use them at all. Basically I just use the headrest straps to stop the pillow from falling out of the car and when I sit down I adjust it to the proper position behind my back. For the price and the fact that I can't find something similarly as skinny, I say it is good enough. I'll update this if I find further issues or better things to say as I use it more.

Even though this is a very slim pillow it still pushed me too far forward in my car seat. All the straps and insert buckles are too much work and not worth it. I was more comfortable without this.

My new Crosstrek lacks lumbar and the seats are bit soft, so I ordered up this item. It feels fantastic for me. Just the right subtle amount of soft lumbar cushioning. I like how it secures to the headrest. The bottom discs do not grab the cushion very well, so I will modify them.

funciona muy bien, no es el esteticamente más bonito y hay que entender en donde te funciona a ti en lo personal para sentir el apoyo en la espalda de manera que puedas manejar las horas sin sentir dolor. En mi caso, mi vehiculo tenia muy poco apoyo lumbar y este producto realmente me hizo la diferencia. Ya lo he recomendado un par de veces a amigos y familiares... los broches o piezas de plastico que tiene para fijar el cojin en el asiento para mi gusto estan de mas, es decir no tienen mucho caso pero lo menos para mi caso.

contrary to other reviews, it is a little too wide for the shape of my car seat thus making the curvature a little too pronounced, I'm sure it will soften and sag with time though, will fit better then. all good though.

Those yellow disks that are supposed to be pushed between seat bottom and seat back will not stay in place. This is the first car I’ve had where there is fabric joining the two sections of the seat so that you are unable to push the disks between the two section so that from the back seat you would see them. So I have to find another way to keep them anchored down.

Started a new job at new location an hour from home. The drive started to effect my back and started to have pain in lower back. Was recommended to try a car cushion for support. Purchased this item and after a few days the pain wa gone and never returned. Helped my lowerback and posture. Cushion is small and comfortable and definitely reccomend to try if experiencing back pain due to driving.
