This book surprised me - I've read a lot of books on blogging, photography, and social media - and this book offered a number of new strategies. The chapter on food photography is worth the price of the book alone - succinct and full of excellent advice. The author covers a great deal of turf, and could have been more specific at times, but that's not his goal here. He wants you to have a organized road map so you can jump right and do further research yourself. Honestly, he tied together several missing parts of the puzzle and I'm feeling really confident now. I really enjoyed this book - nice job.

I gave this book five stars because it literally describes everything in a step-by-step manner on how to get from A to Z. Without getting too much into the weeds Kama it provided the right amount of information for me to follow it like an instruction manual to earn money from a Blog online. The proof will be in the pudding when, a year from now, the business should be going according to plan. I'm just highly confident from what I've learned that I know exactly what to do. I wrote every step down into a 70 steps long list. I'm really looking to forward to checking everything off.

...from someone who has done the hard work. Inspiring. Came to me right when I needed it most. (Funny how that works, isn't it?) I've gone from talking about "someday" to having a solid concept / target and a road map for how to get there. I'm more motivated and excited about life than I have been in years - even knowing I'm going to have to bite the bullet and finally learn some skills I've been shying away from for a long time. STRONGLY RECOMMEND THIS ONE.

I like that he includes a proven recipe to help structure your own business to succeed, while stressing the importance of tweaking it to suit your personal needs. Never does he promise some miracle steps to success, but continually encourages you - if you are willing to do the work and commit, you'll get results. I would definitely recommend this!!

Lots of useful information, all really well lined out. James has a true knack for delvering the message in an inspiring way. Read this at the perfect time in my food blogging career, as I recently launched a second website and just bought a new fancy camera. I have been food blogging for 5 years now, and am ready to turn this into a business instead of just a hobby.Thanks James!

I've just started my own blog (including food but also other "lifestyle" subjects) within the last week and I found that I really don't know what I'm doing, ha! I've been looking into several ebooks and "how to" blogs when I received an email highlighting this ebook. I haven't read it cover to cover just yet, but I have been following James Gregory's site for quite a while and I've found his information to be helpful and sound and I have read enough to know that this will be one of my top go-to resources when it comes to building my site.

I learned a lot about food blogging by reading this book. I'm currently in the planning phase of my blog and the information I gleaned was extremely helpful. The book is very practical and easy to understand. LOVED the part about DSLR photography. Side note: If he wrote a follow up, I would totally buy a more in-depth book about the affiliate programs Mr. Gregory touched on.

I didn't have high expectations for this because most of the "how to blog" books I have found for Kindle have been pretty awful, so this was an excellent surprise. This is well written and loaded with useful advice on starting a blog, using social media, and food photography. I have been blogging for a few years and found it incredibly useful.
