Soothing, gentle, and a true skin staple (SKIN HAS NEVER BEEN CLEARER)
This balm is incredibly soothing and works wonders for dry, irritated, or compromised skin. The texture is rich but not greasy, and it absorbs well while leaving the skin feeling protected and calm. I love how gentle it is—no strong scent and no irritation—which makes it great for sensitive skin. A little goes a long way, and it’s been especially helpful during times when my skin needs extra care and moisture. Overall, this is a reliable, multi-purpose product that lives up to the hype. I always like to keep a tube on hand.

A Lifesaver for Dry, Irritated Skin
La Roche‑Posay Cicaplast Balm B5 has been an absolute game‑changer for me. After starting tretinoin, my skin became really dry and flaky, and nothing seemed to calm it down. Within just two days of using this balm, my skin felt hydrated, soft, and noticeably more glowy. It creates this comforting, soothing layer without feeling heavy or greasy, and it hasn’t caused any breakouts or irritation. It just quietly does its job and brings your skin back to life. If you’re dealing with dryness or sensitivity, this balm is such a reliable go‑to. It's non scented which is a plus. Excellent formula for the price.

Super Gentle & Very Moisturizing
I bought this soothing balm to help with calming my rosacea flare-ups when I can’t use my regular sensitive AR+ cream or Mirvaso. This is just slightly more liquid than diaper rash paste but way thicker than regular lotions. The moisturizing properties are impressive if you don't mind the mildly greasy feel after application. This balm is not for wearing under makeup; its better for sensitive skin moisturizing at night or on weekends. Does not irritate my skin one bit, but unfortunately it doesn't calm my flaming hot red flare-ups. This is about half the size of a toothpaste tube, but a little goes a long way—good value. It glides so nicely during application. I cannot detect any scent at all. I'm keeping this to use 2-3 nights a week in between my AR+ nights on my face and 2-3 nights a week in between my Bliss peptide & The Ordinary HA serum on my neck. My skin just drinks this stuff up!

the best cream!
I genuinely love this cream so much! And despite how thick and rich it is, it doesn't break me out (I have acne prone skin). It's very thick so if you have other skincare on your face, it might not spread or absorb as easily. You can wait a while and then apply, or sometimes I'll use a fan to help the other skin care penetrate. Another option: to get it to penetrate my skin at night, I'll mix it up with fingers along with my night time moisturizer (vanicream moisturizer, which is more of lotion) to thin it out, and then i apply that mixture as the last step in my skincare. I am so glowy and hydrated in the morning! I also put some on my lips, then add aquaphor/vaseline on top, and my lips are so soft in the morning. If I have an old pimple that it basically healing (ie doesn't have any more gunk to drain), then I put a tiny dot of this and it helps heal the irritated skin.

The Best!
This balm is incredibly soothing for irritated or compromised skin. It absorbs well without feeling greasy or heavy. I noticed a visible improvement in redness and dryness after just a few uses. The formula feels gentle and safe even for very sensitive skin. It works well as a nighttime repair cream. A little goes a long way, making the tube last longer than expected. It layers nicely under sunscreen or makeup. The fragrance-free formula is a big plus. It helped restore my skin barrier during colder weather. This is a dependable product for anyone dealing with skin stress.

Rich, Thick, Effective
The first time I used this in March, it clogged my pores. However, when used on dry enough skin (like mine this Fall), it can definitely help with rebuilding the skin barrier and healing. There is a white cast partly because it is thick/rich. I would give it a 4.3 because it does work, but may clog pores depending on climate and skin tendencies.

Awesome product, worked immediately
One of the best balms I’ve ever used for dry skin. Light weight and within a a day saw my skin feel good and better. Not greasy, no scent. Moisturizing and don’t need a lot of the cream at all. Meant for spot testing. Pricey side but worth it. Wish they made in a body lotion

Amazing Healing Cream — A Must Have
La Roche-Posay Cicaplast is honestly one of the best soothing and repairing creams I’ve ever used. It calms irritation quickly, helps heal dry or damaged skin, and feels super gentle even on sensitive areas. The texture is lightweight but very nourishing, and it absorbs without leaving a greasy feeling. I love how fast it works — redness, dryness, and irritation improve almost overnight. An absolute staple in my skincare routine! Highly recommend.
