Ceiling Speaker cover Installed easily. I installed 5
Ceiling Speaker cover Installed easily. I installed 5.1 system Klipsch speakers 3-8'' & 2-6" & worked great. I have blown insulation & when I removed the cutout carefully I was able to pop the cover in the ceiling to protect the speakers with little mess from insulation. The cover pop into the ceiling between the studs & held firmly. It created a protective tent cover. I thought it was crazy to get these but it turned out to be a great help & good buy. Highly recommend them.

Easy to use speaker cover
This cover is very easy to use and works well with the blown in insulation since this type is not heavy and doesn't crushed the cover. These covers are also very big and the size stated in the description is misleading as the 6x6 is how they're packaged and rolled up. Once opened they're a good 14 inches diameter by 8-10 inches high. Overall, they are a an easy way to cover speakers and keep dust and insulation out.

easy peasy. My insulations blown in so I had ...
They just kinda fold right into the hole you cut and spring back open, easy peasy. My insulations blown in so I had to pull out a bit. Product worked as expected. Gives me peace of mind knowing they're up there protecting the speakers from anything shook loose by my bumpin' music.

Meh, does the job.
Great for blown cotton insulation. I think for what it cost it should be framed out so it's not just sitting directly on the speaker.

Excellent
These work great for ceiling speaker installs where blown in insulation has been used. Use this hole saw to make short work of cutting the holes (and if you're careful it won't pierce the insulation retaining fabric) - https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00Y78VY0G/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1. Carefully cut the fabric and scoop out a little of the insulation so you can install the speaker. Open the speaker cover and slide the wire retainer between the insulation fabric and the sheetrock and you'll make a lot less mess. Now insert the speaker and tighten the retaining clips. Done.

Protects speakers from Loose fill insulation.
I installed Dolby Atmos speakers in my ceiling and needed something to keep the loose fill insulation from getting packed around the cone and connections. These worked well and covered the speakers completely. They have the 'twist & snap' stiffeners around the base to keep the round shape, but could have benefited from one or two of them across the top to help keep the dome shape, otherwise they work OK and will do the job.

Must have for in-ceiling speaker installs!
This is an absolutely fantastic product. I didn't actually put my speakers inside them, but popped them up into the speaker hole in my ceiling, where they then made a barrier that completely kept dust and insulation from getting through. Before placing in ceiling I made a small hole to feed speaker wire through. I wish I would've taken a picture before completing speaker installation but I did not. If for some reason I needed to remove the speaker in the future, these would prevent insulation and dust from falling out of the ceiling because I'd keep it in the ceiling and just replace the speaker. So it's much more useful than a speaker cover. Those that have had to vacuum up insulation and dust know what I'm talking about. I will be buying this product again for future installs.
