VTech 6305 Accessory Cordless Handset, Silver/Black | Requires a VTech LS6315, LS6325, or LS6326 Expandable Phone System to Operate

We bought the base unit with two extensions on sale at a retail outlet last year. The answering machine and interconnection features work very well in our 2000 plus square foot home. The Push to Talk feature works as a great home intercom, saving our voices from yelling to get the kids' attention!So I ordered two more extensions from Amazon, and it was a snap to integrate them into our system. Now we have 4 phones in strategic locations and can page each other easily.The phone features are excellent, batteries last a long time off of the charging bases, and the adjustable volume makes it easier to hear bad connections. The ability to listen and erase messages from any handset really makes keeping up with messages a breeze. The sound is clear and the tone crisp, and I have never encountered static even when venturing outside. The workmanship of the system is top notch: parts fit as they should and surfaces are flush. The finish is sleek, and the muted blue backlight of the handsets provide good contrast.The base station is very compact, and while well constructed of quality materials, a bit light in weight. For instance, if you want to listen to messages at the main answering machine, you might have to hold the base in place in order to push the buttons. Listening to messages from a handset makes this a moot point for me. The buttons are large and well placed on all the devices, making everyday use a snap.I have only bought a new phone system every 15 years or so, and this one looks like it will stand the test of time.

Picked up a 5th handset (6305) on Amazon since it was generally unavailable at local big boxes and I can trust Amazon to get it to me quick and low cost. VTech continues to meet my expectations for portable phones. There are so many on the shelf, most have very clumsy buttons and hard to read screens. This model has been the best to date, only having to upgrade my phones twice in the last 12-14 years. The last was a VTech which speaks to the quality and durability. We have been using this series for about 6 months now. Range and clarity are exceptional. I run 4 handsets in a 4k sqft home and the 5th in my home machine shop 120ft and 2 brick walls later. Dial and sound quality is flawless at that range. I thought I wanted the page and intercom feature to keep the wife happy while working safely, but you should reconsider if you have kids. Works so well, they won't leave the living room without it! You spend your day...you know what I mean. No reason to buy this; they are not manufactured any more so u will not find the actual main base anywhere online, including amazon. I wouldn't have bought this product if I would have known ahead. Amazon shouldn't be selling this product since it's not manufacturer anymore. I had to do quite a bit of research before I learned this fact.

So far these are the best cordless phones we have owned. We purchased the base set with three phones and added a fourth phone as well. The clarity of sound is excellent. The set up was very easy and the intercom feature is absolutely great. We could not take our old phones more than 10 feet from the house and expect them to work. Now I can go out to the barn (about 200 feet from the kitchen) and still get perfect reception, and with the intercom feature my wife doesn't have to yell for me anymore. We highly recommend these phones. They are working very well for us.

Originally bought at Sam's Club then additional handsets ordered through AmazonThis whole phone system works very well as long as you actually use each handset at least once a week, What I've discovered is that even though all the handsets remain on-charge in their respective bases, for some unknown reason they stop working (lose communication with the base) unless you actually go off-hook and get dial tone with each one at least every week or two. So in other words, if you have one of these in a room that you haven't used in a long time, changes are that it's not going to work when you need it to work, even though it's fully charged. The temporary fix is to unplug the internal battery for a few seconds, then reconnect it, whereafter the unit will immediately synch-up with the base and begin working again. Would not buy this model again.

I needed an additional two phones when I purchased the original set of base and two cordless phones and one remote mike. Since unit supports two more this was great to use. Just wish the battery wouldn't deplete as quickly or need to be reset on the base to sync remote with main unit.

This works well as an added extension to my existing set. Easy to set up. I have had no problems with it. It holds a charge for a long time.

We had a little trouble as the battery was finicky. The vender immediately sent out a replacement battery. Not only that they personally answered the phone. No press 1 for this etc.
