I've not really observed this particular form of L-Carnitine do much for transporting/burning fat. But, I suspect that's because having added the acetyl functional group allows it to pass the blood-brain barrier far more efficiently, thus requiring the body to convert it back down to normal L-Carnitine for other purposes. This is certainly why people feel it helps with Alzheimer's, etc. I can't speak to that, but I can say it's helped kick down a couple migraines for me. I can also clearly notice stronger heart pumping, especially if exceeding 1200 mg. So, let that be a warning for some. It gives me more motivation to hit the jogging trail; but if I had a heart condition, I feel taking that much would be dangerous.All in all, I'm quite happy with this stuff. And, as always with amino acids of any sort, taking them with food and dairy (anything alkaline, really) will neutralize it, thus eliminating it's ability to do the job you took it for.

It is a good product and they have wonderful customer service. The product seems to be of good quality and I wanted to purchase again but I noticed it is now $6 more that what i paid originally only 2 months ago :(. May have to look somewhere else, but we'll see.

I'm not a guru or anything but I had a traumatic brain injury with a brain hemmorage years ago. I also suffer from Post Traumatic stress disorder. Thanks to this supplement I am able to focus better as well as momorize my forms,kicks,blocks and strikes as well as do exceptional on testing.I was using the powder but decided to go with the easy to swallow capsules for convenience. Same great quality,my order arrived a week earlier than it was supposed to. Bulk Supplements treats everyone like a V.I.P.

I really like the product but some of the capsules were opened and the powder was all over the place and it got on my hand every time I reached in for a capsule.

I think its so awesome that there is an option for Vegetarian Capsules. My preferences is to not have to worry about measuring anything and I don't have to worry about fillers or some other additive messing with my stomach if I don't take it with food. I like this product because I have more clarity with my thoughts and more energy. The energy I feel from this product is not like a stimulant like caffeine but more like a refreshed type of energy to take on the day. I will definitely buy again!!

So far, this product is amazing. Went out for some drinks with friends and woke up to a pounding headache and mental fuzziness. Hangovers usually last a day or two, but this time I had just received my acal and took two paired with Advil first thing in the morning and within 15-30mins, my hangover was completely gone for the entire day, no fuzziness whatsoever. Hangover miracle cure?
