After researching numerous options and reviews I purchased the ECOWHO 6 spotlight pack + 2 additional spotlights + 2x4m cables + 4x2m cables due to area I needed to cover. The lights came very quickly delivered from Amazon. The small aluminium lights are ideal size due to covert and discreet enough to hide under shrubs or flowerbeds however bright enough to light up the foliage. Superb 3w bulbs gives off a bright spread of light and with the maximum 8 spotlight on one transformer still only uses a minimum amount of wattage to cover such a large length of cabling. No 500w floodlight needed any more !!. The ease of plugging in, then just connecting the cables or spotlights in any order was effect less. Plan your lights layout or at least have a guide of length of cable. Aluminium spikes too. Pre dug a small hole as will still snap if too much pressure inserting into ground though. The LED bulb and build quality is very good indeed and exceptional value for money. No additional tools needed, no electrical specialist required, just plug and play . So easy for any keen gardener or to show off the garden area after dusk . Very pleased indeed. Only thing now is I want to do the front lawn to highlight laurel so will have to reorder the same amount again 😂🤦🏻‍♂️... but worth it for the impact it creates on the garden and highlighting the trees we have. NB. I also purchased 2xGosund wi-fi plugs with these. Then connected using my Alexa. So not only can these spotlights be added to the Alexa routine timings to turn on at your timings, but also voice command like any other bulb/device . Fantastic. I’ve attached photos to give you an idea of my project. Spending money on these is not a easy decision as it all adds up but hope it helps. Also be careful as cheaper ones on EBay but check out the cable lengths From lights and transformer voltage as lower quality I thought. Good luck .. enjoy Danny783.

When I unboxed the product I have to say that I was pleased. The individual spot lamps appear well made and not too big in size (they are smaller than what you would typically expect, probably about 35mm in diameter) but therefore perfect what what I wanted. The spikes which the lamps stand on were also made from a light metal rather than cheaper plastic which I was expecting. Connecting up was straight forward and easy, and when powered on the brightness was about right, not like an floodlight football pitch but instead providing nice ambient light around the garden. However, after around 4 hours of being on we noticed the lights had all gone out - inspecting a lamp you could see that the LED's in the cob were barely being lit so it seems the power supply had failed and was not providing enough current/voltage to light the lamps. For some basic troubleshooting I took each lamp and one at a time, connected it on its own to the power supply - just in case it was a faulty lamp causing the rest to fail but the problem persisted. Shame. The lamps were nice whilst they worked and I was considering getting another set to add some further illumination before the power supply packed up. I am sure that I was probably unlucky, and had everything worked this would have been a 5 star review, but instead its just 2 out of 5.

I'm not a gardener or a landscape designer and that is where this product shines...literally. I kept umming and ahhing adding it to the basket trying to justify it and then removing it and in that time, the neighbour got one up on me and put their own in! I was not having that so I hit the button. Setup - very easy. You have the plug, a cable from the plug to the first light and then each light daisy chains up to the last one. And that is it. Each light unit goes onto a spoke and then its up to you about aligning it and pushing the spoke into the soil. The head is on a swivel joint so you can tilt it up/down as you please. I think most will put this IN the pots but we opted outside to shine against the pots and plants rather than just shining up a plant. The image does not give it any justice as you get a nice glow in the entire garden but the look we wanted to achieve we got very easily. Add it to a timer or if you have, home automation and you can have it switch on/off as you please - it could even add a bit of security too knowing lights are on at night if you are out etc. Don't want until a neighbour does it first - grab it now. I want to now look at doing the same for the front garden too!

These are good lights, all aluminium construction unlike many of the cheaper lights, although here is a tip. The cradle that the light sits in is quite flimsy so don't attempt to push the spike into the ground by the light. The cradle will buckle. Push from the spike top instead. That said, I like these lights. Brightness is good and good cable length means placement can be quite flexible. However, they lose one star because they are lacking any kind of timer, programming function or remote control. I think this is quite a glaring error in this kind of product. I contacted the seller about this but had no reply.

So, bought a set of these last year (set of 6) on spec to see how they'd perform. Previoulsy I'd been using various sets of solar LEDs that were fine when the sun was out, but eventually only lasted for a couple of hours. So far these have exceeded all my expectations. They're small, but all-metal with a really solid feel to them. They come pre-packed, but there's a little bit of assembly required to put the spikes onto them. Assembly is straightforward and doesn't take long. Allen keys are supplied for the spike lock-nuts and light adjustment. For some reason these are two different sizes but it's not problem. Each lamp is around 5W LEd, so the total is 30W over the 6 lamps. Everything is wired up out of the box, with the exception of the transformer connection. This is a simple screw-fit connector onto the main lead. The ground spikes are very sharp aluminium, unlike some of the nasty plastic ones that are normally supplied. It all fits together well, and it really does feel sturdy. Each lamp has around 2m of cable before the next one, giving a total of around 15m, plus another 5m or so to the transformer. The transformer is NOT waterproof, so it will have to be installed inside under cover, or in an appropriately waterproof box. The colour is a warm white, rather than cool or blue. The lamps are spot-lights, so don't expect wide coverage. I wouldn't class them as particularly bright, but more atmospheric. They have survived summer and winter without any problem whatsoever. They're still just as they were when I installed them. I've plugged them into a smart socket that comes on at sunset and off at sunrise. They just work. I've been so impressed with the first set, that I've just bought two more for my garden. My only gripe (if you can call it that) is that the price has gone up in the meantime. I guess that's the price you pay for something that actually works.

I was looking for lights that linked up and all the others I was viewing didn't have cables to link up but by looking at the reviews these linked up and were the perfect ones. The lights arrived nice and swiftly, none of the lights were broke which is fantastic because sometimes when I order lights I always have one that gets broke in transit. Like any outside items these are waterproof and can be left outside when the weathers bad. These really do light up the garden and give it that extra warmth feeling to the garden, they look absolutely awesome and I'm so glad I took the plunge to purchase them, even though the lights are small, the pack of 6 makes up for that and they give off an extreme light to the garden, these even work outside the garden, if you want to light up the house they do exactly that. It's livened up my garden so much, can see the whole garden when it's pitch black now!

I bought two sets of these five years ago and they are still going strong! Pesky squirrels biy through one of the wires a couple of years ago but a dab of solder soon sorted that. They are stuck in the ground, completely exposed to the British weather and I don't even have any condensation. I've skimped on lights in the past only for them to last a season, but these are really sturdy, well made, give off a lovely light and have stood the test of time. Great product and they last! Worth paying a little extra even if they aren't a recognised brand.

Excellent product, I am absolutely delighted with these lights. They put a really warm light through the trees in my garden, not too stark at all. Be careful when comparing with similar looking products, as all the others that I viewed did not come with the cables to link the lights up. This package includes everything you need, no further outlay required for a transformer, cables etc. The lights themselves are well made, look very tidy and are of a nice compact size, they also attach easily to the supplied pegs to stick them into the ground. I am very pleased with this product and am looking to buy another 6 to light up the other half of the garden. When used with a mains timer in a weatherproof outdoor junction box, they are a very attractive asset to any garden.
