Alamo Double Drop Leaf Table (94142)

This table is great. The fact that it is made from solid wood is just a big bonus. Although it is solid wood, it is still light enough for one person to easily move on their own. We live in a very small house and do not have a lot of space for a table. When folded up, the table sits nicely against the wall. It is so easy to pull out the legs for use. We appreciate that we can keep it against the wall and only pull out one of the legs if we want to use it for a refreshment table. It is very sturdy and looks beautiful. Such a handy design for those of us who are limited in space.

Perfect size for my Mahjong room. 42”. And folds away perfectly a 14” side leaf table. I purchased a green felt cover for my card players. My mom wants one now, for an instant bridge table. Super easy to assemble! Color works for my home, but would be nice to have some options.

I needed a drop leaf table to allow it to be flush against the wall to save space in a small dining area. Obviously, we can open both leafs when we have people over. But, for the two of us, one leaf up is adequate eating space. The table has a beautiful finish and color to it. It was easy enough to put together. I am a little concerned that my husband might somehow kick the leaf leg, but time will tell about whether that comes to pass. I don’t feel like the leg stop is the best it could be when in the open position. It doesn’t allow the leg to 100% extend. And if you push on it too hard it will go over the stop. The stop for when you are folding in a leaf seems perfect. This table fits our need for space, looks beautiful, and is a bargain price for such a solid table.

I mostly live outdoors in Mexico and when I built my house I put dining room outside. And then summer came and it was way too hot to eat outdoors. Especially when I have a/c inside. My teeny perfect house needed a table but it had to be out of the way when not in use. This one is perfect. It doesn’t wobble because each leg has an adjustable foot. It folds up and stands against a wall when not in use. It is light enough to move alone and seats 4 comfortably. I tried to get it on Amazon Mexico but after waiting 6 months I ordered it on amazon us and picked it up. Worth the drive. It’s goid looking too

Great table for the price. We bought this for my father in law who lives in an apartment and needed something he could fit in a small area that would still seat guests. He folded one leaf down and set it against the wall and it still gives him plenty of room to eat or pay bills, etc. It's very nice quality and went together quickly with 4 bolts and an included allen wrench. The only thing that might be an issue for some is that each drop leaf is held up by a leg, so if you have the table set against a wall like my FIL you can't sit directly in the center of the remaining "half," you have to be on one side of the space or the other because the leg is in the middle of the remaining leaf. Doesn't bother him at all.

I love this design. We needed a narrow table for our breakfast nook. Although this is as wide as other 4 person tables, the round design makes it less conspicuous. The real genius is on the design. It has a wooden block that prevents the legs from continuing to open (and thus fall). Further once you open a leg in order to stand the table, it goes over a hump and then the hump comes down, preventing you from closing the leg unless you purposely do it. It's just two things to put together. Very well built and beautiful.

It's a decent, cheap and functional table but you shouldn't expect heirloom construction. I expect this will serve for some time but ultimately will get rickety and have to go into the dumpster. We needed this on short notice so it'll be okay. If you have more time I'd suggest shopping for a higher quality piece or building one yourself.

Durable, heavy duty, great quality

I am so happy with my table. It is not as dark as other walnut furniture that I have, but works close enough. Perfect size for a smaller space. You only have to put 4 screws in to assemble the top to the base-- A welcome change to other furniture kits I have recently built, could not be less of a headache!! Can seat 4. Note that you can't really squeeze in more than 4 because the design of the legs will not allow it. The The top of the table is aligned on an angle to the legs to allow it to fold so if you are fussy about symmetry and balance this may not be the right table for you. I think it is however easy enough to fix by putting a table cloth over so you can't tell ;) lol. Seems like a great purchase so far.

Excellent table for small spaces because of the large leaf size it folds down to just over 13 inches. The table was well packaged and free of any imperfections or scratches. Extremely easy to put together (took 5 mins) and seems very sturdy considering it’s a drop leaf table Note: It is a bit lighter (not quite as dark cherry wood as it appears) but that worked quite well with the chairs we wanted to use with it.

I’m sure it could be stronger but it suits our needs as it’s just us two and fits perfectly in our space. For the price, it’s as good as you gonna get.

I was lucky enough to get a flawless table. I really love the color, the convenience, the size, etc. It is very easy to assemble and as easy to level it.

I received this table in great condition. It was easy to assemble and I love the drop down leaves as it makes a great narrow hall table for when I need extra floor space when I am not using it. I would definitely recommend.
