It was a gift for my boyfriend and he loved it. It is comfortable and sturdy.

1 Working Day break-in needed in my case.
These shoes are excellent. Granted this is only my 3rd day impression of them.Day 1 experience was a bit tricky. As the internal metatarsal guard felt abnormally thick. Putting pressure on that area. Leading me to loosen the laces to the point I could barely tie the shoes.1 full working day after that?I'm blown away. These are lighter on my feet than my previous composite toe shoe and comfortable.After a *single day* to break in, these became the best work shoe I could ask for.

Excellent but...
Great comfort and price. Breathability will be tested in summer. My only gripe is their shoe strings don't stay tied without double knot or either too long. These don't stay tied.

Tight size
I wear a size 11 mostly. I ordered the 11 and the 11.5 as i can go either way. Gald i did! I dont consider my metatarsals to be tall/high, but i couldnt even get the size 11 on my foot, the metaguard is so tight. The 11.5 are just right, snug still, but i wore them all day and im happy. They seem very solid, nice thick soles with lots of traction. I work on horses feet for a living and these are a lil outside my normal boot. I was looking for something less heavy, easier to live with, and walk in. So far so good. We'll see how long they last!

Comfortable work boots
These are steel toe boots for work. They are light weight and very comfortable. I am on my feet 10 hours a day and my feet no longer hurt. I highly recommend you try these if you are in need of steel toes.

Great work shoes
These are great work shoes. They are comfortable and the padded insoles feel awesome. They have a padding in the tounge that takes a little getting used to but it actually saved me a lot of pain from a pipe dropping on my foot. They look nice and I can walk in them all day with no problems.I've had these going on a year now and they are super durable. I've recently bought other big name boot brands that make a athletic work shoe and they fell apart in 4-5 months. These will definitely be my next pair as well.
