I have purchased quite a few different servos in the 10-25 range to try to find the optimal balance of cost, performance, and durability. This servo does well. It is on the noisier side - but on par with most others. Speed is good (for a servo in this price range) - it is not as fast as published specs but faster than say a 996R (guessing maybe in the 0.15-0.18 range). Centering is good (contrary to one of the prior reviews). It is a little low voltage sensitive. I found that when running a receiver pack that was weak/low on charge, it began to get very jerky in movements (and sounded not smooth) and did not center well. In contrast, other servos I have tried before would still function (albeit slower). I have seen other anomalies with the JX LV series (a weird ticking behavior) on batteries that need to be charged so this may be something with JX servos in general but that is complete speculation. Durability will have to be confirmed over time.Overall, this is an OK option if you are looking for a lower cost option for a SCT or buggy with better performance than a RTR servo. If you want a high torque servo for crawling, I would probably recommend a different option (where speed may not be as much of a desire). If you want increased torque and speed, then you'll likely need to pay closer to 25. If you just want a metal gear servo to bash with, the 996R is still the one to beat (even with slower speed and overshoot) - just really hard to argue against the price. The only caveat I would make on this servo is that there are options closer to 16-17 that are waterproof with comparable performance to this servo so keep this in mind kif that's important to you).

Great affordable performance servo. For the price this servo can't be beat. Plenty of speed and power. Centers perfectly and runs nice and quiet.

Great upgrade servo for 10 scale and a lot faster then stock. I use it on a maverick quantum and the original servo was 6kg this is 17kg. Great servo for the money. Just remember this has only 120 degrees travel. I need it one with less then 180 degrees travel.

The centering is very poor. Almost lost a aircraft because of it.Keep these on the ground!

Don't waste your time on this piece of junk. Mine made grinding noises and had an incredible amount of slot in the gears. Luckily I tested it on the bench so it was never installed in either of the 3Racing S64 GA cars i just finished building, I just returned this instead. I bought an AGFRC low profile servo, two actually, and they both are lightning fast, quiet and accurate. I really wanted to like this servo but regret wasting my time on this thing.

It was on point when it was working but it died waay too soon for me to give this a decent rating. I had my endpoints set and set it up as I usually do all my servos. One day it just didn’t work.
