SorelMen's Falcon Ridge Ii Slipper

This Review is for the Sorel Men's Open-Back Slippers, (also known as the Sorel Men's Falcon Ridge Slipper).I am a woman who wears a Woman's street shoe or boot in size 10, in a medium width.I have bought many pairs of the the Sorel Men's Falcon Ridge Slipper in a size 8 for myself, and in several of the different colors.I buy my Husband a size 12 in a very similar style of this Sorel slipper, but which has a closed heel, the Sorel Men's Manawan Slipper.I have found that these opened back Falcon Ridge Men's size 8 Slippers fits me the best because I always wear these slippers barefoot, sometimes with knit legwarmers when my ankles and calves need warmth.I am an avid sock-hater cuz my toes have to have their freedom! I also dislike slippers and shoes with backs over the heels on them, so that is another reason I totally love these slippers, and I prefer a bit looser fit for a slipper too.Interestingly, my husband is the opposite of me with his slippers. He always wears socks and he loves a closed back heel on his slippers. So for him, I buy him the other Sorel Style that fits and functions similar to these, with the same crepe-style outer sole but has the closed in heel, the Sorel Men's Manawan Slipper.I do have 1 pair of these Men's Falcon Ridge Slippers that I accidently got in a Men's size 9 a few years back. It has always been a bit too big on me, unless I force myself to wear socks with them.So for me:- BAREFOOT - The Men's 8 fits a woman's size 10 feet with some roomy comfort.- WITH SOCKS, (a medium thickness athletic/sport sock) - The Men's 9 fits a Woman's size 10 Feet.So, keep that sizing difference in mind if you want to wear socks with these Sorel Men's Falcon Ridge Slippers. The same pretty much goes for the fit in Sorel Men's Manawan Slipper too, but a closed-in heel does also make for a snugger fit.Anyway, over the years, I just keep on buying these Sorel Men's Falcon Ridge Slippers! These are my main Fall/Winter slipper/shoe for around my house and out on my wood decks because these are very comfortable slippers and are pretty warm, quite tough and durable, and look decent too.BUT, THE BIGGEST REASON that I continue to buy these slippers is because I totally love the outer crepe-style sole on these!With these slippers on, I can actually go out on my wet, snowy or slightly frozen wood decks and not slip.I can even walk around on our snow-packed driveway, after my husband snow-blows it, and I also do not slip!I will still slip on thick frozen ice, but for somewhat slippery decks, the soles on these slippers get a very good grip!Whenever I buy a new pair of these Sorel Men's Falcon Ridge Slippers, I always examine them for any quality or stitching issues and I make sure they are the correct size and still fit me good. They always feel snug and a bit narrow at 1st, but these quickly do stretch a bit and conform to your foot.Then, the very 1st thing I actually do with all of my Sorel Falcon Slippers before I wear them, is to remove that Sorel FAKE-shearling insole and replace it with an original UGG Women's Sheepskin Insoles in size Women's size10 to fit the Men's 8 of this slipper.For me, the Sorel fake-shearling insole that comes in these slippers seem to make my feet too hot and sweaty! It seems my feet have some sort of odd reaction to the Sorel fake-Shearling material.That problem goes away with the Ugg real shearling insoles, which last me for at least a year.My husband always wears socks so the Sorel fake-shearling Insoles don't seem to make his feet too hot.This year, I actually ended up buying 3 different pairs of these Sorel Men's Falcon Ridge Slippers, in 3 different colors, so I would have some variety in colors.I totally work from home now, since COVID caused the company I used to work for to shut down permanently. So these are basically the only daily footwear I wear during the cold seasons at home.I am super happy with the Sorel Men's Falcon Ridge Slipper and my husband is also always super happy with the other Sorel closed heel style slipper that I get for him.

Bought these for my husband to wear indoors, although they can also be used for outdoors. They are a bit pricey, but will last because they are very sturdy and durable. We love the look, and he finds them very comfortable. This is his second pair of Sorel slippers. I've had the women's slippers and love them for the same reasons. I highly recommend these slippers!

Easy slip on but won't just fall off with the small heel . Very comfortable and warm. The craftsmanship is top notch. Best slippers I've ever owned!

I have always gotten very inexpensive slippers. This is the first time i have purchased slippers this expensive. Well my early thoughts, what took me so long. They fit great no breaking in and super comfortable

This is tough. These are by far my favorite slipper. I’ve tried others and always come back to these. They are comfortable and fit perfectly. They allow me to easily slip them on and off if my feet get to warm. They look great too and they never smell bad. However, there is one glaring issue - the sole never stays attached to the slipper for more than 6 or 7 months. I have to buy a new pair at no more than a year old due to this. The gum sole just isn’t robust enough to hold on to the daily abuse of walking around the house in slippers. If this one issue could be figured out these would be the best slippers in the world. But, for now, I will keep on hunting for a slipper that matches the comfort, anti-smelliness, usefulness and looks of these slippers but is more durable.

I love that they slip on without my needing to reach down but also don't flip flop and drag because they have some structure. They are comfortable, attractive, and seem well built, though I've only had them a couple months so I cannot yet speak to durability.

I’ve only had these for about 1 week, so I can’t speak to their durability yet and I don’t wear them outside.But I love them so far — they’re very comfortable and keep my feet nice and warm on cold mornings!I wear a Size 12 and can easily wear these 12s with or without my cotton Dickie’s socks of normal thickness. On the coldest mornings I might wear my Darn Tough wool socks with them but that’s almost overkill.I hate flip-flops and thongs and historically have rarely worn slippers, but it only took a few minutes of getting used to these to enjoy walking around in them. The low rear heel on these makes it easy to slip in and out of them without bending over. I find that if I wear socks with them they feel a little more securely “attached” to my feet than if I’m barefoot (but like I said I’ve hardly ever worn slippers).Edit: I’ve already gotten used to wearing these without socks, and now I’ve noticed one very minor issue:My bare feet sweat a little bit in these after an hour or so of sipping hot coffee and reading the news as I and my home warm up in the morning (I turn down the heat at night). But if I wear socks with them then the sweating’s not an issue as the sock absorbs the sweat. Anyway, goes to show how warm they are!

I’ve had a pair of these now for three years and they’ve just gotten to the point where I needed to replace them so I am a repeat customer. I’ve worn them outside a few times because they are so comfortable. When I re-ordered I even bought a pair with higher back for the winter time. These are really easy to slide your feet into and they are comfortable. I did notice that the back doesn’t stay up after a while but that hasn’t been a problem. I’m pretty rough on my shoes and slippers, I already told you that I’ve worn them outside a few times, but they have really lasted a long time considering. I’ve had the slippers and these are by far the most comfortable and they are really good looking too.

J'ai commandé du 43 suite aux commentaires, disant qu'il fallait prendre une, voire deux tailles au dessus.Faisant du 41, j'ai commandé du 43 et l'ai échangé pour du 42, qui est encore légèrement trop grand !Donc, j'aurais du prendre ma taille 41 !!!Sinon, on est bien dans ses pantoufles lorsque le sol est froid ! j'apprécie énormément.

Ces chaussons mules sont trop petits pour les pieds de mon homme et je vais dire que c'est tant mieux !Et oui, du haut de mon 40, ils ne sont pas si grands que ça (ça flotte à peine) et ils sont tellement si confortable que de toute façon je lui aurais piqué !La semelle épaisse est anti-dérapante.La couleur gris clair est un classique passe-partout.Bref, définitivement, elles réchaufferont mes petits petons cet hiver !
