UPDATE:I feel the need to update my review as I received an email apologizing from Sorel and a full refund in the product. I really appreciate that they responded so fairly. I think we may have just gotten a defective pair.Let me start by saying that I was a huge fan of Sorels. I have a pair of Joan of Arctic boots that are about 10 years old and still look brand new. I’ve recommended them so many times over the years I have lost count. That being said, these men’s boots are absolute garbage. I bought them as a Christmas gift for my husband. He tried them on at a local boot store and fell in love. They seemed like nice durable boots in the store. He wasn’t looking for anything more than a nice casual leather boot that would last several years. An alternative to loafers that he could wear to the office. Well, that is not what we received. Straight out of the box the leather seemed very...thin? I thought nothing of it since they were only for light, casual use and put them under the tree.These boots have only been worn four or five times and as you can see in the pictures they are completely scratched all over. Not scratches that can be buffed out, scratches that make them unwearable. He has never worn these anywhere that they would receive any kind of abuse. The last time he wore them he had to change a flat tire on his Prius. Ten minute job, no stress to the boots at all. He didn’t climb under the car or even get his khakis dirty. That is the most action they have ever received and in no way should that lead to a giant tear on the toe. I added a picture of the sole to show how little they have been worn.I am extremely disappointed in the quality of these boots. I did not try to return them since it has been over the return period. Sorel has lost a loyal customer. I’ll stick with Frye. Better quality leather for just a little more $

Loved these boots right off of the bat. So comfortable. Laces are a bit janky and won’t stay right, i think due to their square shape. But man, so comfortable.However : 3 weeks in, the sole on the left boot started to just plain fall off. $200 for a pair of boots is mid range, but I’d expect more than 3 weeks of use before they fall apart.I own a pair of Asian made $50 dr martens and have gotten 5 years of use out of them. Their soles are split now after that long, hence the new boots.Guess i look for something else now

This boot is very well made and looks great! I tried the boots on and it fits like a glove. I have bought boots in the past that have a wide opening at the top. This boot's shaft fits close to my leg, allowing my pant legs to fall smoothly over the boot. No more pulling my pant legs over the boot when I stand up. I wore them in the first 2020 snow storm. They kept my feet dry and the grip on the snow and some icey spots were good. Thanks Sorel!

I wanted to like these boots so badly, they are a great looking boot. The fit was normal length and width wise, but the heel cup would dig into my ankle bone. I even returned the original boots for a second pair and they did the same thing. It’s probably just my foot, but whatever plastic piece they have sewn into the leather curves in and hits right at my ankle bone. I own lots of boots from Ugg to Frye, Trask and Wolverine 1000 boots, this is the only boot I have tried on that has done this

Las botas son increíblemente hermosas me encantan como se ven solo tiene 2 aspectos que no me gustaron, el primero es que cuando las saque y las revise no percibí ese característico olor que tiene el cuero así que tengo la duda de si serán realmente de cuero o serán sintéticas o quizás fueron tratadas con algún producto para q no huelan a cuero realmente no lo sé y el segundo esq son botas muy duras supongo que con el tiempo deberían hacerse más cómodas he tenido otras botas y estas son las primeras que me parecen tan duras. Ahora bien hay un tercer punto las botas son pesadas pero esto no lo puedo poner del todo como algo negativo ya que el peso viene en la descripción del artículo. No he probado que tan impermeables son pero solo tiene protección los primeros 8cm ya que después la lengua del zapato se separa del mismo.Estoy muy complacido con las botas le doy 4 estrellas debido a lo anterior mencionado, esta es mi opinión preliminar espero las botas sean muy duradera.

Comfortable right out of the box. I wear a size 12medium and this is true to size. I probably wouldn't mind a side zipper for easier access but that may have compromised the simplicity of the style which is very versatile and easy to wear on most occasions.

冬メインでオールシーズン履けそうなレースアップのブーツを探してたいたところこれを見つけ購入しました。値段の割にはちょっとチープな印象を持ちましたね。。。素材は薄いレザー(だと思います)と布地を張り合わせた感じで薄いです。冬場はきついかもですね。アウトソールはラバー素材で滑らない！ミッドソールとインナーソールはスポンジっぽくチープに見えるがきっとこのブーツの売りは軽量&快適だと思いす。何せ軽い！ ブーツと思えないくらい軽いです。そしてクッション素材を多く用いているので長時間歩いても疲れないと思います。あとは耐久性は履き続けてみます。
