No backlit keyboard
I purchased this computer because it has SSD/HDD and the backlit keyboard. I do a lot of work in remote areas at night and sometimes the backlight on the keyboard comes in handy. This computer does NOT come with that feature although it shows up in the photos. I contacted the seller (Cardinal Pro Electronics) and they are not willing to work with me and continue to tell me it doesn't say there is a backlight on the keyboard. The battery life is nothing to brag about. I get about two hours of work time before having to plug it in. This is also very disappointing as I was hoping to reach around four. I'm not doing anything crazy where it's being taxed, mostly data work in Excel and drafting in Sketchup. I also lose internet connection frequently which I've never had an issue with my Sony on the same network.Overall, it's a fast computer and comfortable to type on. Speakers are okay, not great but not horrible. The screen has good resolution and the size is about right for what I need. The anti-glare is a nice function, especially since I need to wear a headlamp for entering data in the dark now. The power button is in the location of the delete key on all the other laptops I've used - because of the SSD, the shutdown and start-up time is pretty quick, but it will take some transition time to not turn the computer off every time I delete something :-)For the price, I'd probably try to find another Vaio if I were to do it over again. Definitely would not purchase from the same company as they are awful to work with.

Good all around laptop
Should have read more of the specs. Lacks a lit keyboard, no ethernet port, DVD player or 10 key numerical keys. Otherwise a decent laptop for the money. I prefer AMD over Intel. It runs a little loud, but does not get too hot over time. Exhausts heat to the front as opposed to bottom so regular fans are no good.

Decent for Office Work
It's a good lightweight laptop. The only issue I have is battery life. Even in battery saving mode, it won't last through a 6-hour shift with me. I use this for office/school work. If you're looking for a gaming laptop this isn't it.

Too good to be true
The laptop was in windows 10 s but you can easily switch it to windows 10 home. In fact the instructions on how to do it were on box and on a piece of paper in the box. You’d think that for a computer with 12 gbs of ram and a decent processor you’d be able to do a lot. At least I wasn’t. After I switched to Windows 10 home I downloaded chrome and when it launched almost 100% of the processor was being used. I opened up task manager to see this. I restarted the machine and it was slightly better, at 60%. But the entire time the fan was on full blast and I found this really annoying. Even when you’re not doing anything it’s on. There’s not a good air flow to this laptop so the fan will stay on for long periods of time. Overall, on paper this laptop was great for its low price. But in reality it was garbage. It was lucky enough to get two stars. Don’t recommend anyone else gets this machine.

Microsoft strict
Having had this laptop only about a month, I have found it good for my Audible and movies I own. The only problem I have found is that I cannot use two non-Microsoft apps for my eBook's and cbr comics.

Great little lappy for the price, lightning boot up time!
I wanted a bigger laptop but my cheapness made settle on this. First time for a AMD for me. Love it. I swapped the HDD with an SSD. I can't believe how fast this thing boots up! About 11 seconds! Faster than my latest greatest Android device. If I had to complain It would be no number pad which was an oversight on my part anyway.

Good quality laptop for good price
Laptop was quickly shipped and arrived early. Good quality, sturdy construction. Did not include much extra programs on the laptop that required removal. Quick and easy to get up and running. Only wish it had a built in DVD drive. It is light weight and slim design.

Great specs for the price.
Great computer so far. I like it that it did not have a lot of bloatware installed. Very easy to switch out of S mode. I do recommend a mouse because the touchpad isn't great, but I prefer using a mouse anyway. Best specs for the price currently; 12gb RAM, 128 GB SSD, and a 1 TB HDD.
