My cat loves this water fountain!
Go ahead and get this fountain. I think you'll be very happy you did! (It may even save you some vet bills!) I'm so happy I purchased this water fountain! I got it because my cat would only drink from the toilet, never his water bowl, even if it meant going without water for days until he got sick from dehydration that he landed in the hospital on more than one occasion. So I was really hoping this fountain might entice him to drink instead. I couldn't tell if he was drinking from it for a few weeks because he'd never do so in front of me, so I set up his automatic feeder so it would take pictures whenever he came near the fountain, and I finally caught him drinking! (See picture.) I think he believed he was stealing from his sister (now passed – I miss her so much!), since he would never eat or drink near where I used to feed her. Now I can always tell that he's been drinking from the fountain because he gets droplets of water on his face. Busted! This unit is so quiet, and I was worried that the light would deter my cat, but he doesn't seem to mind it one but, and it makes a great little nightlight for me! This fountain wouldn't be good for dogs unless they're very small, but it's plenty big enough for my very large male cat. Putting the fountain together was a breeze, except I didn't know which way the filter should go in. Others answered this question in the Q&A section though – it goes on with the flat/smooth side down. At first I thought cleaning it would be complicated, especially when it came to cleaning inside the pump, but I figured out from YouTube that it's much less complicated than I thought it would be. Now it's a breeze to clean the fountain! Basically, if it looks like it can come apart or fit together, just give it a try. (I use the tips of scissors to gently pull the little propellor from the inside of the pump.) It will only fit back together one way, which is pretty easy to figure out, so don't be afraid to wing it. If it fits and runs, you did it right. I was worried about getting the power cable in and out through that small tube along the back of the inside of the fountain and then cleaning out the filter itself, but even that's much easier than I expected. I just use the the tip of a knife to pop out the tiny rubber cover at the top of the tube the cable rubs through and the USB cable slides right through it as you pull out the pump. (Just be sure to keep track of the little rubber piece.) Then the filter comes apart very easily and fits back together just as easily. I use a toothbrush (used only for this purpose) to clean this and all the other parts. Don't forget to clean the part of the cable that gets in the fountain water, as that gets residue buildup on it too. If you're still trying to decide which fountain to get, I highly recommend this one! UPDATE Customer service is top notch! After using the fountain go four months the pump stopped working and the light would just flash blue. I emailed them at [email protected] and they replied within two hours saying if it's flashing red, the pump probably died, but if it's flashing blue it may just need to be cleaned. I do clean it often (and you really should too), but figured it couldn't hurt to do it again. (They attached some pictures which I'm adding here.) Sure enough, I think maybe taking it apart and putting it back together was all it needed. Today, at eleven months, the pump died again but this time it was flashing red, so I emailed asking the best place to get a new pump. They again replied super quick (on a Sunday!) and a new pump is already on the way!

So Amazing!
I had a similar fountain I bought on Amazon that simply did not match up to this product. First, it comes with cleaning brushes and directions on how to disassemble the pump in order to properly clean in all the tiny cracks and crevices - PLEASE DO THIS AT *LEAST* ONCE A MONTH!!! (or more if you have more than one cat) I cannot stress the importance of cleaning *inside* the pump and all its pieces, which I'll explain in more detail below. Here are my thoughts: *Assembly: Easy to assemble but I could see where it might be a little less straightforward for someone who hadn't already used a similar product before or is not familiar with assembling items. For this, I would say the instructions are sufficient for guiding through set up. *Cleaning: So easy with the two brushes included!!! You simply remove the two top pieces, dump the tank's water, pull the pump and light out, take off the pump's two covers and pull out the tiny fan. (Pro tip: make sure to do this over a closed drain so you don't lose any pieces.) I recommend filling a sink with soapy, hot water and putting all the pieces and tank in to soak while you pull each component out to scrub and rinse. *Noise: So extremely quiet you can barely hear it, even with the flower adapter! **BUT** only when that tank is very full. As the water level lowers the fountain does get noisier. If you find water trickling/bubbling noises soothing, this shouldn't bother you as the noise is that of water trickling and not of a motor or machine. If you're like me, I find water features' sounds distracting and annoying, but not to worry, just fill it back up once it gets beyond your comfort level. If your main concern is the fountain being quiet at all times, this won't be the product for you. I'm not confident a product exists that would. *Appearance: The overall display of this fountain is very nice and appears more expensive than what it is. The light feature and how the light comes up through the metal top's holes makes the lighting such a neat addition to the overall product. I've been calling it my cat's 'little spaceship.' The quality of the pieces and overall product up close does give away the price point a bit more. Mainly the pump's components more than anything. For example, one of the covers you pop onto the pump has give and will click when pushed on it. At first I thought I hadn't clicked it onto the pump in the correct position, so I verified with the instructions. Once verified, I then thought maybe I just wasn't pushing it in hard enough for it to click all the way, but eventually realized it just had a little more give once clicked into place. I was concerned during the initial assembly but after 3 weeks of use, I do not see any evidence that this has compromised its functionality or integrity. Filters: This is my only dislike of this product. The filters have four compartments which each have it's filtering piece inside. In my other, similar fountain the filtering pieces filled the entire pocket in which they resided. This product has only a small square within each of the four pockets leaving space on either side of the filter open. I'm pretty sure, however, other filters for fountains will work in place of the ones provided with the product. *Overall: A product I can highly recommend for the price point aesthetically, functionally and for the bang for buck.

Best Pet Fountain around!!!
I usually don’t write reviews often, but I had to for this product. While on vacation two summers ago, my mom started turning on the faucet so that my cat, Thor, could drink from it because he would usually jump in the bathroom sink by one of his water bowls. She thought it was cute. When I returned home, he became addicted to it and I kept forgetting to go back into the bathroom to turn it off when he was finished drinking. So, I decided to look into fountains. I had one before with other cats, but it was years ago and it always made me nervous that something might happen if the water ran out and the pump overheated. So, I started searching around for fountains searching for one that possibly turned off automatically when the water ran out when I came across this one. The reviews sold me (other ones complained of bugs growing in the filters or just getting into the water tank altogether) but this one seemed perfect so I purchased it last February. My cat loves it and so do I. It’s very quiet, cute, has 2 different water spouts, allows my cat to drink at all angles, has a night light feature so that I can clearly see the water level at all times, and is very easy to take apart, clean, and fill! My cat drinks from it so much that I have to refill it about every 4 days and he does not have kidney disease, he just loves to hang out and drink the water. A few months ago, it started to slow down and sometimes would take a few seconds to start streaming water. I was concerned because my cat loves it so much that I didn't want him to go a day without it and I had heard that most fountains only last 6 months so I ordered a new one. The old one kept going, but I decided to put it away a month ago to use the new one. I left it in the box should the new one break before I could order another one. This time, the new one came with a year's warranty, which was impressive to me. A couple of weeks ago, I had a question about something so I reached out to Wonder Creature and I found out that all I have to do is use the brush that came with the fountain to clean the pump and the old one would be as good as new. He sent me the directions for cleaning the pump (the directions are also in the description on Amazon - they even have photos). I had no idea the little blue motor came apart!! I took it apart today and when I popped it out, the propeller had a bunch of stuff in it. I cleaned that with the brush attachment and snapped it all back together and it started streaming water just like the new one! Nice! Now, I have 2 fountains so I guess I can put the other one in a different spot in my home or give it to another lucky pet owner. That said... this is the perfect water found and is worth every penny. Heck, I would pay double the price for it! On another note... a friend was at my house earlier in the year and commented on how quiet the motor was... he said that his son's cat's water fountain was very noisy and he needed to get this one. Buy this fountain! You will be very glad that you did!!

It does the job
I bought this water fountain about a year and a half ago and it’s had some positives and negatives. The last month it’s periodically stopped working and now I think it’s done for good. I will be reordering because I just bought a bunch of filters and I don’t want them to go to waste. It also needs scrubbed very well with every filter change every month and there’s lots of nooks/creases which means I end up scrubbing with a tooth brush and it’s time consuming. My cat likes it a lot though. We used to have a hard time getting her to drink water before we got the fountain and now she drinks water on her own, regularly. The fountain itself doesn’t leak, but you do have to fill it very slowly or it spills over. It’s a good size for us, having only one cat. It’s a decent value for the price, but I struggle to call it durable as it just stopped working completely one morning.

Quiet and my pet loves it
This water fountain is easy to set up, very quiet, and keeps the water fresh and clean. My pet started drinking more water right away. The stainless steel design also looks nice and is easy to clean. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

My REVIEW IS THE MOST IMPORTANT ONE ON HERE!! At least one of them!! The best one on Amazon!!
VERY IMPORTANT TO CAT OWNERS: I’m about to blow your mind- no joke! Apologize in advance this review might be a little long, but I think this is very important and your cats will thank you! HERE’S THE TRICK—— Everyone keeps complaining that there fountain gets moldy. People are dumbfounded, and don’t know what to do. I have a solution that has worked great for me! Let me first tell you that I’ve used bottled water like Poland Springs ,geyser thinking I was doing the right thing rather than just simple filtered water. All of these are wrong and not good. The pH is too low and it’s causing mold. Some people might disagree with me. So what did I do? I did all the hard work for everyone out there with water fountains. I tested all kinds of water and the only ones that work that don’t cause mold of the higher pH waters, which are “ Essentia” and “ CORE” water. I’m mix both of them together. But I’m not done yet, there’s more to tell you. I take every single thing apart, and I don’t scrub it with a dirty sponge that I’ve used in my sink. I use paper towels and maybe a face cloth. If I need it I will sometimes use a toothpick to get in corners that you can’t get to. I will also use dawn, dish, dishwashing soap. And I will use antibacterial hand sanitizer to kill all the bacteria. So this is what I do in order 1) take everything apart in the sink and put down a long paper towel in the sink so the parts don’t touch anything in your sink 2) lineup, paper towels on the counter to where you can put the clean parts to dry after you have cleaned them 3) take everything apart and separate it, including the motor and really look at it and see if you see anything in the deep corners so maybe you can use a toothpick or a new toothbrush to get in those corners. Of course, before you do anything, rinse everything with really hot water. 4) then use the antibacterial hand sanitizer on every single thing. Try not to get it too much into the motor, but the parts that you can take apart. Let it sit for a few minutes. 5) then rinse with hot water 6) then scrub everything down with dawn, dishwashing soap, including the little blue and black sponge you want to saturate that and dawn dishwashing soap. Of course, you already did that with the antibacterial hand sanitizer, and then rinsed it out really really good before you added the dawn dishwashing soap, and then you’re going to scrub all of the parts with Dawn dishwashing soap, let that sit for a minute or two. 7) then you going to rinse everything with really hot water. 8) then you’re going to rinse everything with Luke warm water. 9) then you’re gonna take the filter and run it under warm water just to get it wet, yes, that would be tapwater, and then you’re going to rinse out that tapwater with either the HIGH PH BOTTLED-CORE water OR ESSENTIA water. Yes, unfortunately you’ll have to go through a little bit of the good water to rinse out the tapwater from the filter. Some might ask why not just get it wet with the core water and I find that it doesn’t soak it enough maybe because it’s cold in the warm water from the tapwater moistens it better. But you want to rinse out the tapwater from the filter because you want everything to start off with a high pH then after you rinse everything wipe it all down and put it together and then before you put the top on, pour the Essentia or core water over the filter to fill up the water fountain tank. And then you are good to go and just do that once a week and you should be fine. Please know that they say you can go two weeks and I haven’t had an issue if I’ve gone two weeks only a couple times I’ve had an issue in really warm weather we are bacteria likes to grow in warm weather. But it’s not so much mold as it can get slimy if you wait a couple of weeks. I hope this helps everyone and I wish everyone the best of luck. My only other concern is, and just like for humans bottled water has micro plastics in it so now I’m looking to change up or add water in glass bottles that have a very high pH so I’m on the lookout for that now. I have found some glass bottles with springwater, but they have no claim of high pH so I’m still looking for that if you can find glass bottles with a very high pH above eight or nine pH that would be extremely ideal. Good luck everyone. Below you will find what my original review was, and I was going to leave it at that, but then I jumped to the beginning and decided that I wanted to share my experience with everyone on how to avoid mold in the cat fountains and I’m hoping that I can save the health of many cats And they will absolutely love you for it It may not completely avoid mold 100% for some depending on people circumstances and how they clean but if you can get 90 and 95%, you’re still ahead of the game. All my best!! If you’re looking for a great cat fountain, then this is the one that you want to buy from wonder creature. I have purchased 4 in the last 5-6 years. The others are just knock offs and you might ask what’s the difference well it’s the plastic and the quality! These are made so well. my other one I have upstairs doesn’t really make too much noise even when the light is low sometimes I think it’s the level of the floor as well. I’ve done all the hard work and gone through a bunch of sellers on Amazon and this is the seller you should buy from along with your filters. Be careful where you buy your filters from because they end up very moldy so you have to get both from the seller. This is a real review and I have four cats and I’ve gone crazy looking all over Amazon because my filters kept getting moldy and then once I purchased from this company I will never purchase from anywhere else.

Great Fountain for a cat
We bought the round water fountain for our cat. It's the perfect size, easy for her to reach. It looks durable, is easy to set up, clean and change filters. The water level window is great - it prevents filling it too full. Very nice unit. Note- we have 2 medium size dogs - with the daisy in the center, it's awkward for them to use. They would need a fountain slightly larger - possibly the rectangular model. I cant comment on the battery life yet. But yit's a good deal for the price.

Stop searching! This is the one!
I've been using different types of water bowls for years and there was always some type of problem. They got slimy on the bottom, cat food always got in it, whatever gimmick claimed to make it special or different failed to actually make it so. So it was time for a change. This fountain caught my eye for many reasons and I was not dissapointed upon its arrival. It was simple to put together, I was pleased with the size, the flower attachments are a cute little bonus, and I was also pleasantly suprised to recieve the nonslip mat! Plus, you can't beat the price point. Similar waterers were either a comparable price, (or more expensive), but ultimately this one had many more favorable reviews. The extra filters sealed the deal. I like being able to see the water level, and the water constantly circulating naturally keeps it cooler. The filter catches any cat food debris after they eat, and also protects the inside from getting slimy. We keep their food and water in a small back room on the counter, and too many times I've woken up to find their dishes scattered, even broken from being knocked on the floor. I don't like keeping the lights on, since my 4 year olds bedroom is near the back room. When sees the lights on under her door, she thinks we are still awake, and starts stalling, avoiding going to bed, coming out of her room constantly. The gentle blue light is just bright enough so they can see enough to get up on the counter. Now that we can turn the light off, the blue light is dim enough that she doesn't see it, and she has stopped coming out of her room. Huge factor: it's ABSURDLY quiet. Other than the gentle sound of the water, you can barely hear anything at all. Its a very dim, kind of whirring sound, which makes sense, from the fountain circulating the water. You have to actually put your ear right next to it to hear anything at all, standing more than a couple feet away, nothing at all. The lines on the front of the fountain showing the minimum and maximum water levels, so there is no guesswork as to when it needs to be filled. Also, instead of bringing it to the sink to refill each time, I just fill a quart size Tupperware, bring it to the waterer and slowly pour it right into the top. My cats are big, part Mainecoon, the female about 14/16 lbs, her brother about 22/24. So they drink alot of water. Here in CT with the hot humid summer coming, I wanted to switch to a larger waterer, and this is the perfect size. I've been refilling it approximately every 2-3 days, which means the cool clean water is definitely encouraging them to drink more! My cats weren't too sure about it at first, but I read in the reviews that seemed to be common. So I kept an eye on the water levels, and after about a day, the levels degan to drop, so I knew they were drinking. And suprisingly, both my cats, who until this point would have drank from anything, (the faucets in the bathtub, faucet AND dishes in the sink, and any water glass they find anywhere,) even with a freshly cleaned filled water dish, are no longer doing so. I've had this waterer for about 3 weeks now and I haven't seen them at the faucets at all. They are also drinking alot more water which is great, since they are now about 7 years old. A cat I had years ago developed urinary problems in his later years which constantly went to his kidneys, and had to be on medication for the remainder of his life, so anything to help these sweet babies drink more and keep healthy as possible is a big plus in my book. The pictures show my big boy Smokey happy with his new waterer. His sister Bandit is more shy, and not a fan of photos. The only reason I deducted one star is because the top of the waterer doesn't seem to secure in place. The directions say to "press top firmly into place," and it has what looks like latches, along thw inside, giving the impression it's supposed to lock into place. Mine does not. It basically just rests on top. I tried taking the whole thing apart and putting it together again to make sure it wasn't user error, but nope, it just doesn't secure properly. I decided to keep it for a bit and make sure it stayed on. I just didn't feel like going through the hassle of returning it, unless I needed to, and so far it has shown ro be uneccessary. It doesn't leak or anything, the flower attachment seems to help secure it, and it's not like my cats are pawing or pushing at it, so it does stay on. I'm going to give it an extra.good scrubbing this weekend hope the fact that it won't latch properly doesn't give me any problems in the future. TLDR: Get this waterer! This company also makes a fountain that is otherwise identical, but round if you prefer. Otherwise, there is no need to search any longer. I promise you and your pet will love it. Highly recommended!

The cat love it
At first the catbdidnt accept it and was mainly playing with it or just stare at it, after a couple of days it started using it and seems happy with it, it's definitely much much cleaner water than just the bowl, coz where I'm from is sandy and dusty and the old bowl gets dirty within 2 days. This solved that issue. Cleaner water healthier cat less work for me and medical bills in the future everyone is happy lol.

Be aware that it is all plastic
Eventhough they say that the top layer is made of stainless steel, all parts are made of plastic as you see in the picture.

Very popular with our pets
Both dog and cat love this fountain. Easy to clean. At night if you let the water level drop you’ll hear it running so always keep it topped up.
