Seems to measure accurately enough. Compared to to a few tape measures/straight edges as well as a smaller caliper. It is accurate within the specified tolerance and is affordable so no complaints in that department as of now, will update if some emerge. For feel, it isn't the smoothest ever and the balance could be better. The small adjustment wheel is rather loose but does function properly. The knob to tighten seems to do it's job as well. The build quality seems to be a "Get what you pay for" type of thing, meaning decent for a decent price. For usability, it functions like you would expect calipers to function. My only grip would be that I wish it did not have an auto-on when the calipers are being opened. I would prefer to have it either default to making me turn it on or at least a mode switch to make it so it only turns on manually. Overall, very minor gripe and it does well for the price.

I bought these because I need to occasionally measure items over 6 inches, and I didn't want to drop several hundred dollars for name brand for a tool I only planned to use once in a while. What I didn't realize is how much I would love the fraction function. I find myself grabbing these over my Mitutoyo 6" calipers just for the ability to measure in fractions. The calipers are spot on and return to zero exactly. They also turn on automatically when you open them up. The case is super rugged and padded on the inside. These are great. You really get a lot of bang for your buck.

Product arrive on time, however the battery installed was already not functioning. After inserting the secondary battery the digital caliper functioned as designed. It appears to be of quality build, I plan on using it with my 3D printing hobby. Comes in a nice case and has a go of weight to it. The price was more than reasonable for a first time user of a digital caliper.

I cant imagine unless your machining sophistated parts that those high dollar calipers are worth the money (I am sure there are other uses for high dollar ones as well). This is GREAT to have in a few different sizes so you can keep one in your tool box, one in the job box, and a smaller one in the door pocket or back seat pocket. This thing gets used more than I expected. How can this be so cheap? So many times before I wished I had one handy. How big is that fence post? Whats the opening of that pipe? How wide is that trim? Sure, tape measures are everywhere but this is just too easy (as are all calipers, so I am not just pumping Neiko in general). I am ordering a smaller one now. The case is much nicer than I expected. Its not flimsy plastic. Its also not extra heavy duty so dont try running over it in the truck but you can sure have in a tool box and not worry. If it was high dollar of course I would be a bit more careful. Thats the beauty of not so expensive items, you dont have to baby it. REAL nice form fitting foam inside that IS high quality. This even came with a spare battery and a place to store it as well as a place to store yet another battery. I am truly impressed on the value of this puppy. Its MUCH better quality than I expected. VERY nice. This amazon system should score 1-10 or 1-100. If it did, I would give it about a 92. Why? The case sometimes is a bit hard to open but that also keeps it from opening unexpectedly I guess. And I would like to see the caseing around the actual digital readout to be metal but it IS a high quality plastic. I really cant find anything cheap about this product. So stop looking and kicking tires and just buy the thing. Might as well order a small one while your at it coz after you buy this one you will end up getting another one and that will just cost you more in frieght. See the buy button? Click on it.

The caliper works very well and is accurate every time. It holds its shape and does not flex when fully extended at 12inch. The scroll wheel motion is very smooth to adjust minimal amounts. It also had a auto turnoff feature after not using for a while and automatically comes on as well. Plus it holds its calibration and position from the previous use, I've used it to create models for my CNC and 3d printers and have had no true issues with measurements with the caliper. I highly recommend it, as it's definitely one of the cheaper calipers out there with such long length. I don't see this breaking anytime soon.

I got the 12in caliper, and this thing is much bigger than the 6in or 8in. While reading that, i know that you're probably like duhhh. But no, it's literally a scaled up version of the 6in one. You can tell that someone created the 6in caliper, then in the software, they just 200%'d the 6in one and called it a day. I figured the 12in caliper would be the same size, just longer, but it's literally 2x as big in every aspect, the head is 2x as big, the screen, etc.. QUALITY: So the quality seems top tier. It feels really tough. This thing is going to last a while, for sure. Slippage / Accuracy: So I've noticed that if you move the caliper quickly, it will have slippage, way more than the plastic 6in one I have. I could zoom the plastic one back and forth and it would never lose accuracy. But this one you can not. You HAVE to use the wheel or it will throw off the measurement. Weight: It's heavy af, way heavier than it looks, which is probably why it feels sturdy and feels like it's going to last forever. Overall, it's 8.5/10. If it didn't have slippage, it would be perfect. But there's no reason why you can't just always use the wheel. When I say it has slippage, it's not bad or anything.. it only happens when you zoom it back and forth a few times. I could never get my plastic one to slip, whatsoever, no matter how fast you went. This one, not so much. But again, as long as your using it at normal speed, it's perfect.

I got the 12" version. It works great. It keeps track even when moving the slide quickly. It's great for the hobbyist or DIYer. I'm really pleased with it and the very reasonable price and value you get. The biggest flaw is battery life of less than a year. The instant on feature basically means it never turns off. When you move the slide, it turns on automatically. I guess this makes it so you don't have to zero it as frequently. When on, it draws about 16 micro Amps from the battery. When off, it's 15 micro Amps (measured with a Keithley 2010 DMM). So why bother turning it off? A typical LR44 coin cell has about 105 mAh capacity. So that means it'll need a new button cell about every 9 months. (0.105A*h/0.000015A=7000hours, or 9.5 months) The battery that comes installed will be dead if it's been nine or more months between manufacture and delivery to you. Good thing it comes with a spare battery.

Broken after one year of use. Would not recommend. Size is good and battery was good for quite a while but cannot recommend due to the digital function erroring out and becoming useless.

Buen calibrador, mide en milímetros, milésimas de pulgada y fracciones de pulgada. Comparé su precisión contra un Mitutoyo análogo y es bastante preciso, por el precio está muy bien. Lo que no me gustó fue que la pila venía ya dentro del vernier y pues ya estaba descargada cuando lo encendí por primera vez, me marcaba error. Solo tuve que cambiar la pila y problema resuelto. Recomendable producto.
