Replacing my 2013 Chevrolet Cruze's head gasket and I needed to lock my cams together for removal. Enter this part: • It included everything I needed, to hold the cams where they needed to be. • Nice quality parts here, easy to use and never had an issue with this kit. • I've now used this kit on 3 vehicles and it's been a lifesaver. Definitely worth the money to have on hand.

I was able to use this kit to recently change my timing chain with a cloyes kit. The crankshaft fixing pin didn't like to go in all the way, you kinda had to will the crank pulley a little remember don't force it just tap it if necessary and should go in most of the way at Top dead center of course, just check to see if the pulley has play or not and you're good. The camshaft alignment tool to hold the cams in place was absolutly snug snug fit. which worked out, don't be afraid to the move the cams ever so slighty with the wrench and have a buddy slide in the tool get one cam in and then the other at TDC. The camshaft exciter wheel holder and guide holder worked great along with pin for the tensioner. I used all data diy for exciter wheel alignment. The kit does work, just not 100%. The car did run like brand new after. If you do plan on buying it. Don't just buy the Timing Chain Kit(the acutal chain kit for the car not these tools) make sure to get a tensioner shoe bushing as well incase it broke off.

Worked perfectly for Chevy 1.4T timing. A lot of Amazon timing tools have play but this one did not. Great product at a great value.

Worked exactly as it should. It’s definitely not top quality, but it definitely does the trick.

I Thought my daughters car was a scrapper when the timing chain slipped dues to the plastic guides disintegrating while she was driving it. I stripped it down, confirmed the valves wern't bent then went about removing the sump to get all the bits out, and rebuilding the top end timing with new guides and chain and a gasget set. I used this tool to setup the new timing and crossed my fingers, it worked perfectly, I can't say how happy it was when it started up and sounded ok, Its now August and its still running fine..
