Gosky Universal Binocular Tripod Mount, Stabilite Adapter - 1/4-20 - New Rest Compatible with All Tripods

This tripod adapter worked great with my 7x35 Bushnell Falcon 133410 Binoculars and was perfect for viewing my first show, "Come From Away". This adapter was easy to use and kept the binoculars steady. They allowed me to view the entire musical without missing anything. It was so real I felt I was actually back in Gander, Newfoundland dancing and singing with the cast during the days after 9/11. This binocular holder works well securing my 10x42 or 15x70 binoculars while they are being used on a parallelogram type tripod. I have zero concerns that this product will fail allowing my binoculars to be damaged. One caveat, the elastic does not seem like it would be able to withstand extreme weather conditions over the long haul, but in my case, this product is kept indoors until I need to take it outside. I am really pleased with this purchase.

Got these for the total solar eclipse 2024. Did not have a way to attach my binoculars to a tripod. I was very pleased with these. Of the options I purchased, not the best but certainly did the job well.

I have a few binoculars that don’t have any tripod hole, so this was an inexpensive way to get them onto my tripod. The bands are sturdy and elastic. The hook-and-loop fasteners are strong and will stay put until you pull them apart. Please be aware that the bands may interfere with focus, because the bands may cover your focus knob. Perhaps using only a single strap will remedy this issue. I am happy with my purchase!

Maybe it's standard in Europe or China but the unit I received has a screw hole that does not fit any of my standard tripods, the width is correct but the threads are finer that a standard mount screw. Returning.

Since my 10x50 binoculars don’t have a threaded mounting socket, this seemed to be a reasonably priced option. The good: They do hold my binoculars well, and with thoughtful placement of the two Velcro straps, the adjustment controls aren’t affected. I am also pleased that the straps don’t seem to ‘squash’ the binoculars, so they don’t cause a narrowing of the eyepiece distance. The not so good: The mounting threads are NOT 1/4”-20 as indicated. It wouldn’t attach to my tripod mounting screw, so I first verified with a screw gauge that my tripod is equipped with a 1/4-20 screw, which it is. Because the mounting hole threads appeared to be slightly tighter than a 1/4-20 opening, I figured I’d rather try tapping the hole with new 1/4-20 threads than returning the item, as I also had a secondary plan if tapping the hole didn’t work. In short order, I had tapped the hole with fresh 1/4-20 threading, and now it fits my tripod perfectly. Overall, now that I’ve altered it, I’m happy enough with it. But unless you are equipped to do this, you’ll end up returning the item.

This mount has fantastic versatility and ease of use. So, I was looking for a quick and easy mount to use when testing binoculars and monoculars, and this mount has proven to be up to the task. I even used it to test a very heavy, vintage WWII Navy ordinance scope, and it did the job. For versatility and ease of use, I give it an A+.

This worked brilliantly on top of a monopod for our cruise to Alaska. Kept our arms from being tired holding up binoculars while looking at waterfalls, whales, etc.

Quick setup and stable.

I got these to bet able to use my night vision binoculars, and they work great. It's not the highest quality but it's above average, especially considering the cost. I gave a 5/5 because after searching for days, I could find nothing else comparable. They are uniquely able to do the job. If attaching a camera or phone, it may not be the most solid for expensive gear. However, if you don't have the screw hole for your binos to attach to a mount, this is the product to buy. But I have no other thing to compare it to as well.
