The first time I ordered these 6 lights I received a screwdriver. Received a return authorization and UPS came by the next day to pick up. Ordered 6 more. In fairness to Moriarty's they did not charge me for the second order so from money perspective all was good. These path lights are incredibly solid. Housing is cast aluminum and you can literally drive on them. However, I noticed on arrival that they had no on/off switch and there is no way to access the battery (that I could find) to replace it as needed. As they come in a sealed carton any charge they had dissipated in shipment. They arrived at my Florida home mid afternoon and I immediately sat them in the direct sun light until sundown around 5 hours later. All six came on, but one went out in less than an hour. The 2nd day I sat them all in the sun at about 9:00 AM. Sundown was about 8:15 PM. The unit mentioned did not come on at all, and a second unit had also failed. I've placed them all in the sun around 7:30 AM today. Two did not come on the 2nd night. If anything changes for the better I'll amend this review, but for now I have to suggest not purchasing this product unless you're prepared to live with a high failure rate. I contacted Moriarty's last week (about 3 business days ago) to advise that 2 of the 6 did not work after 2nd day and asked for credit for 1/3 of purchase price since 1/3 did not work. I've not heard back from seller. BTW, for those who care, these are made in China.June 15 - follow up - As per my original review 2 of the 6 units failed by 2nd day and have not come back on. They are, without doubt, defective. I've contacted the seller (Moriarty's) and they have not responded after about 2 weeks so I assume I will not hear from them. I've paid about $70 for 6 lights ($11.67 ea), but as Moriarty's is non-responsive I ended up paying $17,50 ea for the ones that worked. I cannot recommend this product and I definitely suggest staying away from Moriarty's. I've amended my rating from 2 stars to one.

I was looking for solar LED lighting units for my driveway but wanted to avoid flimsy plastic units that would need to be protected or shielded. I’m very satisfied with my purchase of these heavy-duty lighting fixtures. They are made of rigid metal and shaped so as to stand up to any abuse, such as being run over by a car. Moreover, the low profile of the fixture makes it easy to install in such a way that the lawnmower won’t damage it when cutting the grass. I added pictures of the install scenario of a couple of the lights: I placed them near these white rocks that I use to border the driveway. The bright illumination is evident in two of the pictures taken at night after a rainstorm. (Of course the units are waterproof). In summary, these lights offer advantages in terms of durability, tight construction, and low physical profile. If you’re looking for a robust solution to walkway/driveway lighting that can stand up to lawn care and traffic rigors, these units are for you.

Mounted these along our 85 foot composite walkway to the dock. While we used the screws that were supplied, there were screws missing which is the reason for 4 v. 5 stars. Easy install and lights work as advertised throwing off quite a bit of light over the water to warn boaters of the walkway. Pleased to date with this purchase! Only time will tell how long they last.

I purchased these for enhancement of my little bridge crossing a narrow creek. I was really surprised at how bright they are and when I go to work early morning they are still bright... It's been 10 months and two of them are not staying on like a weak battery. Went to change and the battery is sealed. There is a two year warranty but the Amazon description says return period is over...

Bought this six pack and immediately bought six more. I absolutely love them. I installed them towards the bottom of my wood post holding up the rope fence around my pool. A light shines down lighting the walkway and the light on top accents the rope. Love these lights.

These things are Awsome and lasts for a long time. Bought them previously and some failed on my dock probably cause the tide was extremely and they were submerged but most survived. It’s almost 2 years since the first ones were installed

These solar lights provide very good lighting on our patio steps and in our garden. They are heavy enough to stay in place when placed on the step or the ground. Bonus points to this business for the handwritten thank you note regarding our purchase. That’s going the extra mile!!

Are use these to help light up my peer, so far they have worked great! Very bright. I’m thinking of buying six more! Great product.
