Sold me a unit that was GAURENTEED UPDATEE CURRENT MAPS AND WHEN I GOT UNIT DIS NOT HAVE UPDATED MAPS NO LIVE TRAFFIC UPDATES NO 3D MAPS BOT HIGH DEF SCREEN WHEN CONTACTED THEY ASSURED ME THEY WOIKD FIX IT BUT ALL THEY DID WAS DRAG THERE FEET TILL THE RETURN WINDOW CLOSED. THEN BLAME IT ON ALPINE BUT THE UNIT WOULD NOT EVEN BE RECOGNIZED BY THE MAP UPDATE PROGRAM. THEY PROB SOLD ME A BROKEN REFURN UNIT AND SAID IT WAS A NEW. WASTED over $800 down the drain plus install costs and reinstall costs rr2 unit and no kind of accountability taken on There part just wasted money time effort, total disappointment. BUYERS BEWARE BUT HEY IF U LIKE THROWING MONEY AWAY THIS IS YOUR SELLER CAUSE U MIGHY AS WELL DONATE THE MONEU THAT WAY U CAN AT LEAST WRITE IT OFF ON YOUR TAXES SO ITS NOT A TOTAL LOSS would of emrater zero stars but that wasn't allowed

Purchased from Ebay and installed in a 2018 Toyota Sienna Limited with rear seat entertainment...was initially super excited even with the amount of customization that would be required to make it look stock...this is one of the only headunits with an HDMI OUT port (most headunits that even have hdmi ports at all are HDMI IN)...my excitement ended however when I had everything hooked up...the only thing that would come up was the roku screen as if it was cut into 1/4 sections...I could not for the life of me find a setting for full screen or 16:9 or anything like that...so upon further research Alpine only intends for this HDMI OUT port to be used in conjunction with their own DVD player but you would only know this by reaching out to Alpine tech support...so in conclusion this is absolutely an awesome radio that looks awesome but if you are hoping to possibly have a hard drive of movies hooked up to a radio and play those movies to a rear entertainment system you are out of luck unless you want to buy their dvd player this is why the 3 star rating...pioneer has a much greater feature set and the ability to see a 4tb NTFS hard drive whereas I couldnt get the alpine radio to see an 80gb exfat drive
