For a middle school teacher's standpoint, this product is great. It is easy to use and works well in the classroom setting. It is also easy to store and share with other teachers. The gadgets are easy to manage and the reflected image is clear. This is my first document camera and I believe I made a great choice.

I was under the impression per the explanation that the CD was included and a manual, but there was no CD and the manual was a print off from the intetnet and not even stapled.

Finally reviewing this (months and months after taking delivery) and I have nothing but superlatives to offer.I finally opened the packaging and put this unit to work a couple of months ago. It was carefully packed, practically indistinguishable from the same item "bought new," produces clear, sharp images, inputs and outputs across a wide range of connector types , from VGA to USB, to good old fashioned RCA. It also focuses crisply and quickly (all by itself) and zooms AMAZINGLY close.If you are concerned about not having enough tabletop space for this item, don't be. It is compact, flexible, and unobtrusive in a demo/lecture context. This takes the place of much larger and difficult-to-manipulate alternatives. Controls are also intuitive and easily learned.Because I am a science teacher, frequently completing demonstrations for large groups of high school students, I bought the illumination/laser dot attachment for this unit, (and also the microscope attachment from another supplier). I can't say enough positive after working with both.Haven't tried the video capture feature yet, but there is no reason to believe that it will be less sensational than every other thoughtful and effective component here.In short, I'm just blown away by this unit, and I am recommending it to anyone who does the kind of work I do. Wow.

It works great! My school only provided those ancient transparency projectors for everyone's use in the classroom. Four teachers had to share the one subpar document camera and projector the school was able to provide. Getting this doc cam was a lifesaver and much better than the one the school had. Clarity was great, and the fact that I could store picture books in the camera for short read alouds and not have to make constant trips to the local library was priceless.

I had one in my classroom in Texas, so had to find one to use here in Virginia. It works great and makes teaching ESL classes so much easier! It is very reliable, easy to use, and dependable.

This product is an excellent product and I have used it for two different installations. It is well made and works very good.I have one that is four years old and not a single problem.

Purchased this to use as a teaching tool in the senior computer to which I belong and i wasn't dissapointed. Best value for the money. I worked for a school district as a tesc and handled document cameras for class rooms those were expensive units and this one stands up to them and surpasses them. The unit meets and exceeds expectations.

Very happy with this purchase, it's made our demos very clean and easier to conduct, thanks for the quick turn-around, we used it the day we got it!
