Carbol Fuchsin is an excellent biological stain used to visualize objects under the microscope.

This is also called castellani’s paint. it stains but dries quickly. (unlike gentian violet, which sheds a lovely purple color everywhere for days but otherwise is my topical antiseptic of choice). Anyway, back to Castellani’s paint, if you pine for mercurochrome, this is a decent substitution, it cleans and dries a cut or scrape, leaves a nice red stain to show where you put it.

This product arrived very fast and works perfect for what we need. Will buy again for sure when we use it all.
