Works just fine combined with new diffuser for best suction
I have a Pentair Intelliflo 3.0 HP pump that stopped priming/pumping water after it had run dry one day and didn't shut off on its own. It was my fault mostly, but after that it wouldn't prime. After pulling the pump apart I found that the wear ring on the diffuser had basically been burned all the way through. And the impeller, this part, has also suffered some wear. Plus, it wobbled just bit making it rub on the diffuser. So I bought a new diffuser and just to be safe this new impeller. That way both parts would be brand new and hopefully fit together like they should so the pump would have suction again. This part wasn't as cheap as some here on Amazon, but it appears to be OEM. It fit perfectly and after test running the pump it spins perfectly true, no wobbles. Note it doesn't come with the ceramic inner ring/collar part or the rubber o-ring. You'll have to steal those from you existing impeller. But they should work just fine. Installing this part is pretty easy. The phillips head screw in the middle is a left-hand thread, so removing it you rotate it clockwise, but the part threads onto the motor shaft normal. This is for the 3.0 HP pump. PN 073131. Pump is pushing 80 gpm at 3200 rmp which is more than I've ever had. But I had just cleaned the filters too.

Another needed pool part It helps keeps my pool running. Thanks to our pool guy. He told me to buy it. He said it was easy to install. Fit the bill for what was needed.

Perfect for 011018 pump
I replaced my 011018 Pentair VS pump and used this impeller. It works perfectly.

looks ok at first but not good build quality.
after only a couple of days the brass insert on the impeller became loose so it does not spin when the pump is on.

Watch your part numbers and HP rating.
This is the OEM part for a 1.5 HP Whisperflo. The impeller hp rating must be the same or below your motor hp. Part fits well. Would be five stars except it does not come off when I need to service or replace the motor.
