A Mouse Called Wolf

We read this one with our child and he really it. We’ll have to do it again with our younger child when she gets a bit older!

I read this to my five year old and we loved it. Such a cute story.

She was almost 6 when we read this book and sat cuddled up with me for as long as I would keep reading. For a normally very active girl this was a sure sign of her interest. The book is, of course, pure fantasy, but the emotions expressed both of intimacy and concern are real enough. King-Smith does a good job of blending realtiies of life with his fantasies. As an aside, the layout of the book and the fonts and font sizes used made the book a pleasure to read from. The illustrations are also quite nice, simple, and appropriate.

Chose this as an early start on chapter books for my grandson.

This was on several homeschool reading lists. We haven’t read it yet but the description sounds good. And I know you aren’t supposed to judge a book on its cover but the cover is really cute

Delightful. Very fun to read. Enjoyed by all ages. I've read it to many of my school children. They love listening to it. I personally love this book since I am music teacher and the theme is a musical one. Five stars for sure.

“Awesome!” Read this to my 5-year old and he loved it. Very wholesome with some nice humor for little kids.
