Everything I wanted
They are exactly what I wanted higher sole and so bright white. They are perfect size and look so good with almost everything. I would absolutely recommend them due to their versatility with clothing.

Did not actually purchase the ones from Amazon, rather bought a similar pair, enough of a difference that Amazon one was returned. But these are great little sneakers. Will purchase again.

Not what they appear!
My son is in middle school and has been teased that these vans are fakes! The logo on the back is black with white printing and the soles are not white but tan/light brown. Not a big deal to most but a very big deal to some teenagers. This was clearly misrepresented in photos etc.

They're absolutely perfect. Geniune vans. They fit perfectly, and the white ones I ordered are actually white which I'm extremely excited about because sometimes I see 'white vans' come off white.

Run a little large
Ordered my regular shoe size and it seems they were about a 1/2 too large. Still a quality shoe, that Amazon worked with me to exchange for the correct size.

Caution: Heavy load
Shoes were a little tight near my pinky toes. They are also kind of heavy. Much heavier than any other pair of sneakers I've owned, perhaps with the exception of platform sneakers in the mid-90s. I wore them to a music festival and they turned out to be a lot of trouble. For everyday wear they're alright. Also the rubber base breaks away from the fabric pretty quickly.

Chunkier than the lo pros I usually buy but still not too bulky for a girl. I got them in the true white which really are a nice bright white. Bought the 6.5 which is my usual size, and they fit great
