Better than my Eufy, half the cost
So, my Eufy 15C bit the dust and I needed a replacement. Not to bore you with the details, but my dog-sitter was in a rush one morning while we were on vacation, and my two year old bloodhound pooped in the house (only the second time ever, and the first was the night she came home with us at 12 weeks). You can imagine the rest of the story... but to the Eufy's credit, it still worked and even docked itself covered in poop. Cleaning it off is was what did it in, as I got a bit generous with the bleach spray. I really didn't want to spend the loot on another Eufy, even though I was happy with its performance. When I bought my Eufy I was adamant about having a WIFI controllable unit, but after owning it a year, it was mostly a useless feature for my needs. After searching for a cheaper alternative, I came across this one and a review vid sold me. After opening the box, I realized it looked exactly like my Eufy. The only notable difference is the dust bin opens on the side, rather than the top. After a few hours of charging, I gave it a test run and I was blown away by its performance. The Eufy would sometimes blow dog hair away rather than pick it up, this unit sucks it all in. For some reason, dog hair doesn't clog the roller on this unit, unlike the Eufy which needed cleaning several times a week. Overall, I'm very impressed. Not only does this one work better than my Eufy, it does it at half the cost. There was a $20 coupon at the time of my purchase as well, which really sweetened the deal.

Better value than a Roomba.
We have been using for about 2 months, runs a couple times a week. Very pleased without purchase. Even when the floor looks clean it picks up a good amount of dust, hair, etc. This is a really good product if you own pets. The brush roller works well on hard floors and rugs. I would not recommend this if you will primarily use it on carpet. There appears to be some IR sensors on the front, and I will slow down before bumping into walls if the room is well light and the surafe is somewhat reflective like a painted surface or furniture leg. I expect this feature will extend the life of the vacuum. It is random navigation but covers pretty well and will follow edges of the room if it detects one. Battery life is great, runs for about 2 hours before returning home. Only one time it didn't find the dock before running out of battery. The filter works well and traps very fine dust, not sure if it's HEPA but works well regardless. Cons: Long human hair does get tangled in the spinning brushes and roller, however it's easy to clean and they provide a tool for cutting it out quickly. The dust bin is somewhat hard to open and has sharp corners than make emptying the dust bin uncomfortable. The dust bin needs emptied every time you run it, multiple times if the area is really dirty. I don't expect it to last as long as a Roomba. The brush roller does not soon as freely as it did new. It's only about $12 to replace though. You can buy 3 of these for 1 Roomba. I think it's a better value overall. Would recommend, would buy from Amarey again.

Exactly as advertised
I've wanted a robot vacuum for a couple years now but couldn't justify the high cost. Came across a great deal on the A800, saw it had good reviews, and decided to give it a shot. Have had it for a couple weeks now and I have to say I'm impressed. This little robot does exactly what it's supposed to. PROS: - Good cleaning. Probably the most important thing is that it does a pretty darn good job, especially if you let it run every day. We have a golden retriever which means LOTS of dog hair. The A800 has no problem taking care of the fur. We also had a Christmas tree and it took care of the needles without fail. - Works on all floors. We have a variety of flooring and the vacuum has no issue cleaning or transitioning between them. We have deep pile carpet in a couple rooms along with hardwood, vinyl and cork floors that all have dense wool rugs scattered about. The robot has no problem going between all of those surfaces and cleans them all equally well. - Quiet. The robot is quiet enough that I run in in the middle of the night on the Auto setting on our first floor while we are sleeping on the second. It goes about it's job and we wake up to a clean house. Nothing wrong with that! - Easy to operate. Emptying the dust bin on this unit is easy as is cleaning the main roller and side brushes. No issues here. CONS: - Schedule is all or nothing. The schedule can only be setup for daily cleaning every day. There is no way to tell the robot to only clean every other day, for example, or any other schedule you might imagine. So in other words, the vacuum is going to clean every day at the time you set on the schedule, or you'll have to trigger it to run manually using the remote. There is no app to control the robot. - No barriers. We have 1 piece of furniture that has an arched opening. The robot often wedges itself under it. I have had to construct a physical barrier to prevent it from getting underneath there. Would be nice if there were some type of barrier support on this unit. - Can get stuck. When the vacuum is running with full power, it rarely gets stuck. However, I've noticed that when it has exhausted its power reserves, it continues to try to clean on its way back to the base unit. The robot is usually running much slower and with less speed so it gets stuck on things much easier in this state. Would be an improvement in the design to have the vacuum return directly to the base when it's in low power mode instead of continuing to try and clean on the way back. - Small bin. Not unexpectedly, the bin is quite small on the vacuum and does need to be emptied after every use. Overall, this vacuum is exactly what I was looking for. A cheap, good cleaning robot without a lot of bells and whistles to get in the way of just doing its job. I can't quite justify 5 stars for the machine because of the cons I noted above, but if I could give it 4.5 stars, I would as that seems more appropriate. If you can get this for ~$150, I'd highly recommend it! UPDATE January 25, 2020 ------------------------------- Amarey offers a free Replenishment Kit with this vacuum if you submit a review and send them a link to it via a support email. They promise to ship the kit in 5 business days. I followed the process and sent them an email on January 12th. I still have not received a response from the company despite asking for an update. It has been 10 business days and counting... UPDATE February 1, 2020 ------------------------------ Still no response whatsoever from the company. I have dropped my rating by 1 star since it seems that customer service is not their strong suit. UPDATE February 3, 2020 ------------------------------ Finally got a response from the company and received the Replenishment Kit a few days later. Bumped back up to 4 stars.

Changed My Mind About Robot Vacuums!
I bought this on sale at a great price. Honestly I expected to send this back for a refund within a week of buying it. I live in an apartment with quite a bit of furniture. It also has lots of twists and turns where a small vac can get stuck. The first few times I ran it, it did get stuck so I had to hunt for it whenever I came home. In all fairness I realized that I had to clear up a few obstacles that were in the home especially wires that I had on the floor. I also had to close the doors for any room I did not want the vac to go into, makes sense, right? Now I have gotten to the point that I love having it. I run a regular vacuum once a week but it is great to run the Amarey several days on top of this. I have wall to wall carpet as well as a cat so the vac really helps keep the place looking clean. It picks up cat hair really well as well as dust and small debris. An added bonus it that my cat loves playing with it as well so it keeps him company when I am not home. He does also mess with it when it is working but it is a tough little vac so it finds its way back to finishing its job. It also does a great job at finding its way back to the charger. I was very surprised that it could wind its way back though my apartment and smoothly park itself in the dock. I highly recommend this vac. It is still a great price, it is very well made. It arrives with extra filters and side brushes. It also looks to have a great support team. Scores high in all the right places.

I will recommend this great and smart robotic vacuum
Since I pregnant my husband and I were looking for a new vacuum cleaner, unlike the handheld vacuum, to clean our house. And then we found a robotic vacuum could be the best choice and finally we choose Amarey A800 Robotic Vacuum. We can't wait to use it when we received it. It is very easy to set up and use, just press the power button and it starts to work. We sit so relax at the living room and the robotic vacuum start its busy work. During its work, it is so smart and did a great job at cleansing. I saw it clean the corner and hard-to-reach places and it picks up small dirt, hairs, everything. It is so amazing that it can turn the moving direction or move back when it gets stuck, and it has intelligence ability of navigation to clean the whole room. I used it twice and it did a surprisingly good job including the clean floor, carpet, and air. Besides, we can control it remotely via the monitor. It is so wonderful for me to release my hand and time on cleansing work. Good vacuuming! love it!

Good value and works great.
Given how well this amarey A800 works, it is a good value compared to all other robot vacuums. I tried another robot vacuum that was supposed to be a very smart robot vacuum and it cost quite a bit more but its performance was no better than this much lower priced robot vacuum. This robot vacuum doesn't have a lot of smarts or sensors but it does work fairly well and bumps into stuff but softly, the other one was much harder so that is one aspect of this A800 vacuum that I really like. It gets over and around stuff fairly well but can't climb very high so don't expect it to climb over some of the higher room transitions or thicker carpets. It has a nice set of wide brushes to get along room edges and along furniture. It comes with an actual remote control (not wifi/smartphone!) which is a big plus. It also comes with spare brushes, spare filter and a cleaning tool. A big plus is that it can find its way back to the charger when it is done cleaning or when the battery gets low. Overall a really good value in a good robot vacuum.

Absolute garbage
Get ready for a novel cause this thing was a major pain... First off, when I initially ordered this vac it got lost in shipment... it was originally supposed to arrive next day, but almost a week later I get the notification saying it “may have been lost...” so I requested a replacement. I finally receive the replacement a few days later... Now the good stuff... I’ve been lucky to have success with a lot of amazon orders/products. I rarely have to write a bad review, but wow. I’m so disappointed in this robot vac. It completely stopped working and malfunctioned after 2 days. I’m renting a large master bedroom, and I was only using it in there. There are no obstructions, or anything that would damage it in my room. I was initially excited. I have a cat and a dog which they both shed A LOT. So, I was happy to have this robo vac help maintain all the shedding. Towards the end of the first day of having it I noticed it was going in circles (backwards). I looked up troubleshooting. The website said that either the sensor is dirty or the bumper is jammed. Neither were the case. It was brand new so the sensor and the bumper were perfectly clean and intact. I tried a hard restart. Worked fine for about 10 min, and then started going in circles, again. I called customer support. They had me disassemble the thing to see if anything is lodged in... but really??? Less than 24 hours and I have this issue, and now I’m having to take it apart...? After I re-assembled it I decided to let it charge over night and give it another try the next day. The next morning the first thing I figured I’d do is clear the tray. When I pulled it out there was almost nothing in it! A few hours of it running through my room the day before, and then I come to find it barely sucked anything up... once I put the tray back in I turned it on. It started working fine (sorta). 30 min go by, and it’s still working fine. I was relieved... but I spoke too soon. A few minutes later I hear it going in circles and beeping at the same time... WTF?! I almost through it across the room I was so upset. I decided enough was enough. I decided to return it. I figured I’d at least clear the dirt tray before re-boxing it... and can you guess what I saw..? NOTHING! A few small dust bunnies. It ran for a total of 45 min... and all sucked up were a few dust bunnies. Once I boxed it up I come to find that I don’t qualify for return/exchange because I technically received a replacement. I told them it was a replacement because the first one never showed up! After going back and forth (I tried my hardest not to be a Karen/Kevin), but they finally agreed to give me a refund... Long story short... this thing sucks (not literally)

Decent bargain robo vac
It works pretty well as far as suction, we have 2 dogs and we would find plenty of pet hair and dirt each time we cleaned it. After about 3 months it started making a VERY loud rattling noise only after I would clean it. It seems like the plastic dust bin or a wheel is loose from putting it back in and then the engine running is rattling it because it is not locked in correctly. No matter how many times I would take it a part to try and find out what it was I could not locate it. After it ran a few times it would stop making the noise. I am wondering if once it got more weight from debris it would stop rattling so much. Not sure but it is so loud it makes me want to use it less to the point that I am going to attempt to use the warranty. I will update review on how their warranty service is. After seeing a rumba model that was about $500 a friend has I can definitely say that the routing on this machine is sub par. There is no rhyme or reason to how it goes about cleaning and some spots would be completely missed unless I put it in that location. It does pretty well navigating furniture. All in all not a bad unit for the price range. Remember you get what you pay for. If you are wanting to try out a product like this at a lower price then give it a shot but you will likely be interested in a $500 model once you try this out. My advise would be to just get a $500 price point if you can afford it. These things really do work so invest in a nicer model.
