Q: Don’t have a lot of money. What platform is as good or close to mini misti, but cheaper in price? Don’t want to only use it once.Thank you very much.

BIRA products are great; well made and competitively priced. Bira often "brands" for other very well known companies. I have the Bira manual die cutting machine @ 9" opening (other machines do not have as wide of openings, and you can't feed a 8.5" paper through, only a smaller 5.5" - 6", etc.) as well as the baby smaller one. I especially like the quality of the plastic, as well as the ability to adjust roller height in the larger one. Both are identical to the Memory Keepers. If I didn't already have a Misti, which I was happy to pay almost $100 for, I'd buy this stamping platform without hesitation. Stamping platforms are "the bomb"! No more acrylic blocks for me,

Q: Can you buy extra magnets?

There are replacements available. Look for Sunlit Craft replacement magnet # 830 003 015. Two in a package.

Q: Do these magnets work on the Tim Holtz stamping platform?

Yes, that is the platform I have. I add a thin sheet of fun foam to my platform to cushion my stamps, and the magnets still hold tight.

Q: Would this work for my scrapbooking, 12X12 paper?

It is open on 3 sides, so your paper size isn’t limited, meaning it is possible to stamp on parts of a 12 x 12 sheet or any sized paper.
