Ordered this for holding-tank outlet in bottom of cruising boat. Several traditional worm-gear clamps all stripped (jumped threads) when tightened. This is the one hole that can sink the boat; so a reliable clamp is required. The little T-bolt clamp came apart easily (necessary to install on hose already connected) and reassembled with no problems. Used standard ratcheting socket wrench to tighten it.A caution - DO NOT overtighten. These clamps are well-made and rugged; but even these can self-destruct or damage (cut into) the hose. As soon as you see a slight indentation of the hose (maybe half the thickness of the clamp band), you're done. If that's not tight enough, you have a poor match of hose barb and hose. These clamps can always be checked and adjusted later. Use of some anti-seize on all-stainless threads and nut is recommended.

First: it's called an iron head for a reason...I had been struggling to keep the exhaust from slipping off with different clamps after the original one succumbed to 44 years of clamping.I've had the clamp off and back on a few times and it still is working great!when thew rear cylinder one fails I'll be sure to use this again.Second: yes, now that I have faith in it I will trim the adjustment screw.

These are great Clamps, They are Top Notch.. Do Your self A favor. You have some room for Adjustment but these are not A Worm Clamp Measure the Outside and Inside Of Your Hose. It will help You make the Correct Choice when Picking out the Correct Size. These are the best and the Tourqe But has Nylon to make it A lock nut. Think about Using A Tourqe Wrench. These will Tighten no matter what. Makes A great Hydrulic Clamp As Well.

Excellent quality, I used it to replace the exhaust clamp on the Two Brothers exhaust system for my FZ-07 (MT-07) which was 49mm. It worked perfectly, no more leak.

These are good quality clamps and even though they are a bit costly (reason for only 4 stars) they are the only ones I could find that would fit my Mishimoto radiator with the Mishimoto upper and lower hoses on my 2005 STI. I bought a bunch of single clamps around this size for test fitting and these are the best for this application.The hoses have a 1.5" inside diameter and the clamps fit perfectly. They don't bottom out. They do not have the ridge edge along the side of the band under the bolt as pictured. Since the application is for a small diameter this is actually preferred as the ones I bought with ridges would not fit correctly. The ridge area is stiffer than the band and does not conform to the hose for a secure closure. These don't have that problem.

I use these instead of the factory clamps to hold the exhaust pipes on. They look sweet and color very nice with the heat! I have a 1983 Shovelhead, with wrapped pipes, and these make a great accent that is functional, and they do not shake loose like the OEM ones do! One less thing to tighten!

Perfect fit for my Perrin silicone hoses on my 2010 Subaru Forester with 4” lift. Due to my engine drop on the lift I had to extend the silicone hose and couldn’t find a clamp to fit in the tight space of my engine bay. These worked perfectly really good quality nd strong I’ll be ordering two more for my lower radiator hose.

This fixed the slow leak in my Subaru's upper radiator hose going in to the block. The clamp is wide enough and doesn't have rough edges that can cut up the hose. It ratchets down easily with a 10 mm socket and provides a tight fit. A little on the expensive side, but superior to traditional screw on worm clamps in pretty much every way.

Excellent T bolt clamps! Quality is high end and they’re stainless so they won’t rust. I bought 2 of these to secure the slip joints on my motorcycle exhaust and they work very well. They also work great for securing intercooler piping. I prefer this straight through bolt design with a nut on the end vs clamps with a fixed threaded end. 10/10 would buy again.

Tight fit, good choke on my Mopar 1.50" upper rad hose, I am using four because I have the filter/sight glass incorporated into the hose.
