HFZ3850YW2 - Flexzilla Air Hose

This review is for the Flexzilla Air Hose, 3/8 in. x 50 ft., 1/4 in. MNPT Fittings, Heavy Duty, Lightweight, Hybrid Very nice flexible hose. MUCH more flexible than the rubber air hose it replaced. The diameter of the hose is smaller than a rubber hose which makes it smaller when coiled up. I used this as a replacement hose on an retractable reel. The only problem was the hole was too big in the rubber "stopper" at the end that keeps the hose from retracting too far. I just cut an inch of old rubber hose off and split it to use as a filler to make up for the difference in diameter.

The hybrid hoses in general are great. They're light, abrasion resistant, don't kink too bad, very little memory, and at least the Flexzilla ones aren't really affected by UV. Flexzilla, maybe worse than some of the others, does get pretty grubby looking - I think half of it is the color. That being said, the neon green color makes it less likely to get walked on or tripped over I suppose too. I'd say that is really the biggest downside, one of the biggest benefits to me has been working with them when it's cold out - still very flexible.

This thing is awesome, durable, flexible, and long. I can reach across my whole shop floor with my air hose now.

This hose is lightweight and had no leaks the first time I used it. Normally I would have to use Teflon tape on fittings, these were tight! I had absolutely no issue with kinks when I ran this hose throughout the house. Coiling the hose up after use was simple. Just stretch out the hose and twist and loop it onto itself. I am wishing I would have bought the spring-loaded reel system. The value is undeniable. I have an older 50ft hose that wouldn't reach without moving my compressor, so I bought this hose. I was able to just maneuver this around doors with no difficulty, and it didn't mark any walls or trim.

I purchased the 3/8” 50-ft hose. True, it is much lighter and a more flexible hose than others I have owned and It does not kink, but I would argue the point that it “coils easily and lays flat with zero memory”. Not so. It twists and holds tight coils very easily and I have to pull out all 50 ft, lay it out flat by un-coiling it every time I want to put it away. I bought this purposely because I wanted a hose easy to wrap up and hang. This is NOT that hose. On all other counts this is a great hose but having to untwist the coils before putting away has become tiresome. Maybe a heavier all-rubber hose would hang better?

I really like this. Accidentally bought two, but kept both so I have my choice of 25 or 50 foot length. Easy to work with in sub-zero temps. I have to run a heater on the compressor but this hose works great!

Hat super geklappt und muss den Schaumsprüher nicht durchgehend mit der Hand halten. Einfach den Akkukompressor auf Auto stellen und die Schaumparty kann losgehen.
