I very much enjoyed this book and it helps to have a book that can cover the basics of caring for large constrictors

AVS is by far my favorite of the reptile books, it always goes beyond what is expected to provide the most information possible to ensure that your pet has the best life. I would recommend all of these books to novice enthusiasts and professionals alike.

I ordered this book for the "plus reticulated pythons and related species" bit and its quite lacking in that aspect (or it would have gotten 5 stars) but if you're buying for a general Burmese reference its great :) perfect for people who already know a little tiny bit about constrictors but need to know more about the LARGE constrictors, it could also work for novice owners but I'm not to sure how many novice owners are buying Burmese's, I wound definitely talk to someone who actually owns one before making a purchase like that instead of reading a tiny reference book but that's just me :/Either way its a good read for snake lovers and is a very informative basic guide to Burmese pythons

This book contains some great info on caring for these large serpents and it also contains a section on serious considerations before purchasing a giant snake which is great to see.

This book is very good, it not only includes burmese pythons (obviously) but also Indian rock pythons, Sri lanken pythons and Reticulated pythons. This book covers all aspects needed to keep a happy burmese. The health section is very good as it tells you what to do and how to recognise them. overall this is a very good book for any one researching or wanting a burmese python. Great Buy

Great book. Lots of useful and current information. I reread it several times, and still refer to it to maintain my 11'Burmese Albino female.

Great book since I bought this book I have been and bought two albino burmese pythons there is lots of information in this book it's a must have book if you are thinking of getting a burmese python
