12 Volt LEDs - 12V Green LED 3mm Thru-Hole (Pack of 10), 5000 mcd with Internal Resistor

The combination of resistor AND LED is an excellent idea. I applaud the manufacturer for this very convenient feature. I have used 3 of 10 of these LEDs. They are not all exactly the same color temperature, which means that you may have to mix and match to find two that have equal color temperatures if you want them to look exactly the same side by side. I found the small flattened areas near the top of the bulb to be convenient, as they easily bent at that location for extending the legs out straight.One of the three bulbs decided to function erratically, getting brighter, then dimmer several times per minute. I tossed this bulb.My application for these is replacing old analog meter incandescent wheat bulbs. Replacing them with straight LEDs without resistors may have shortened the life of the LED due to the potential for surge current when the bulbs are energized. I found the light intensity to be satisfactory for the purpose of lighting the meter faces.Overall, the bulbs are very convenient, but quality control regarding color temperature and function are issues. The value is very good even if you have to mix and match and toss a couple, which is why they get 4 stars.

Outstanding clarity and quality. Mine weren't 5000mcd as advertised but they'll do perfectly. Shipping was very fast in a padded envelope and arrived safely. Only complaint was the shipping. Ordered 2 sets and was billed 2 shipping fees but received both orders in the same envelope. Other than that, very pleased with the products and the shipping time

this little LED is bright and I installed it on a Technics SL-1800 MKII stylus bulb 12v is required I did not need any resistors (there is one installed in the LED itself) so nothing else is needed for this model turntable and the price is good

Had some issues with a few of the LED's flickering. Kind of disappointed by that, but I'm only taking one star off because it saved me a lot of hassle when putting these in my 4Runner's dashboard.

Works perfectly as replacements for the instrument lights in my 2004 Impala. You must make sure you find the + side of circuit board. But even though it is marked dimmable it really does not dim.

I replaced all incandescent lights in my truck's interior several months ago with these and none have flickered or gone out! Integrating the resistors into the LEDs may be the best thing since sliced bread...

Fixed my HVAC lighting in my 2005 Dodge Grand Caravan. It looks better than the OEM bulbs.
