Not Just for Food
I used these skewers to make gift baskets full of gift cards and lottery tickets! They worked perfectly!

I use these to keep the squirrels from digging up my flower pots
These are reasonably priced and I had previously used them for Barbeque skewers. When the squirrels started digging my new plants out of the planter, I placed the skewers around the plants so the squirrels had no place to maneuver to dig the plants out. Worked beautifully, so now I have dual-purpose skewers :-)
