Skechers USA Men's Olvero Fisherman Sandal

Did not last two months of casual wear. They were confortable and I expected to be able to wear them all summer. But the padding is already falling apart under the big toe and is entirely missing under the ball of my foot. The rest of the shoe is not worn badly, so this seems like a real defect.

Overall, a very comfortable fit. The two velcro straps on each sandal make for easy-on, easy-off. I've walked many miles this past summer & enjoy the light weight as well. When these eventually wear out, I will definitely by again. Cheers!

I like the way these sandals fit, I like the way they look, I like the way they feel when I'm wearing them. My only "but" is that the soles of my feet get hot and stay that way while I'm wearing them. If the heat doesn't subside as they break in, I will glue in some Dr. Scholl's type insoles to see if that will alleviate the issue. Otherwise, I'm very happy with them.

Update June 2017: I bought two more pair of these sandals for my husband just in case they are discontinued. We tried Sketchers' new model of the fisherman sandal with the hard toe and it was not comfortable so we returned it. The leather over the big toe area in the Olvero sandal is soft and flexible which is critical for my husband's comfort.This is the second pair of these sandals which I bought for my husband. My husband had a crossed over second toe and bunions on both sides of his feet causing pain on the ball of his foot. Before his foot surgery, this was the only shoe he could wear and he cut out the toe piece to accommodate his foot. After his surgery, I bought a new pair and this is still the only shoe he can wear for extended periods of time. I asked him to describe the shoe and he said, "Perfect. Absolutely Perfect."When his toes stop being numb, we'll look at new shoes for dress, casual and the beach. But, for now, these are fantastic and super comfortable.

Full sizes only. I wear a 10.5 in Skechers, so I gambled on a 10 for this sandal since I would not be wearing socks. Plenty of toe room still. A little tight across the top of my foot...well "tight" isn't really the right word, how about snug? I haven't worn them for more than a few minutes so far, and expect that they will fit better once I've compressed the footbed some.

Needed something to give me some protection cutting the lawn in summer and would never be seen in public.

Bought two pair for my son. He lives in them! Had them shipped to Costa Rica, took a bit longer than expected, but they arrived and are exactly as we expected. We bought two pair, so we won't be shoeless next time!

There are two adjustable straps. One is across the arch and one goes around the heel, making on and off easy. Insole is comfortable, too, making this a worthwhile investment for a Florida resident like myself.
