Works well and easy to install. Definitely makes a huge difference with heat control, especially in Texas heat.

Out of everything I have used to help reduce the heat in our rv, this is by far the best. While it is a pain to install it is well worth it. Even when installing it, I could feel the difference on the windows that had the film and the ones that still needed it. The heat from the sun was significantly reduced on the windows with the film already installed. I had tried the aluminum foil covers from cars and felt little difference. This works and stays all all the time. It also stops people from looking in during the day so you can keep your blinds or curtains open.

Afyer reading the reviews I reluctantly ordered this for my west facing office windows- 3 large windows each measuring 39" x 48". There are 6 other smaller windows that I already applied a privacy film on. The installation was relatively simple- the instructions recommended using tape on a corner to separate the film and the protective film- worked as it should. So as other reviews stated yes it does crease easily and it is delicate- tears easily. Be sure the window is completely clean and free of any dirt or dust and there shouldn't be an issue. I can deal with the tiny creases and the small tears that happened because it works to help control the heat

Put this up tonight and got it put up and the mirror is in my bathroom and you can see right in from the outside of the house. Got the exact opposite of what I was looking for.

This stuff is awesome! It’s a little bit of a pain to put on, and i do have some soap streaks from using to much but husband insisted it needed more :/. It blocks the sun in this Florida heat flawlessly! My AC bill went down not by huge amounts but def made a difference. The quality is good so far, it has held up in 100 degree temperatures. Adhesion is so good, you don’t get more than once to get it right tho, so be careful and take your time. You legit cannot see in my window from sunrise to sunset. I put my face up to it and could barely make anything out inside which is perfect! I hated always having my blinds closed, now I can open them and still nobody can see in and I don’t have to answer the door lol. 5 🌟 definitely will purchase again for my lanai doors.

I gave 3 stars because this didn’t serve my purpose however it is a good product if you didn’t buy it for my reasons.Let’s talk Pros and ConsPros :•Easy Installation - pro tip for unpealing backing - bite down on a corner with your teeth and grind your teeth back and forth until it comes off and stick your tongue in between film & backing and it’ll come right off. I do window tint on cars and wrap cars so this is a tip we use when working with film. Make sure you use soap and water and squeegee left and right.•Reduces heat and makes your home SOOOO much cooler... You still get natural light but it’s not making your home extremely hot.Let’s talk about how this film works...This film is GREAT for the day time. Why? Because all of the light is coming from the outside. It’s reflecting the light creating a mirror effect whenever the light source is. So outside in the day time, it’ll be a mirror reflection.Now what about ar nighy? Oh no 100% terrible. It offers no privacy. Why? because when you turn on the lights in your home it created a mirror reflection on the inside of the windows. So I can’t even see outside because all the light is in my house making it mirrored from the inside. If you walk outside and look inside, it’s just as if the windows are slightly tinted. Absolutely no mirror reflection on the outside at night because there is no light source outside...Now during the day time, while it is mirror reflective, if you put your head against the window you can see straight in and see everything. this is only really great for mirror reflection if you’re far away from the mirror.So during the day time this mirror is great. You get a nice mirror reflection, still get sunlight while keeping your house cool & it offers some privacy.At night time rhis doesn’t do anything & actually makes seeing out of the windows extremely difficult and in my opinion useless because I want to be able to see outside at night without seeing my bette home reflection.So again - this product is NOT for me bc I wanted NIGHT time privacy without having to have blinds shut 24/7. But for the day time this is good. It really jusr depends on your wants and needs for this product.In an apartment building up high, this would be perfect.I’ll post more pictures this weekend of what it looks like from the inside.

The media could not be loaded. Followed directions per the box. Also watched their online installation video. Really easy to follow and install. Issue is the tool sent leaves scratches with little to no pressure. I would recommend using a microfiber towel when scraping air bubbles out.

My bedroom faces south and west, so every morning felt like I was a spoon in a microwave. The morning light was a serious problem. Blackout curtains were out of the options because it makes a room feel like an underground bunker.When you install the products do the following:Make sure to add a good deal of soapy water via spray bottle on the window, the sticky part of window film, and a generous amount on non sticky side.Make sure you keep spraying on non sticky side of film. Any small air bubbles will give the appearance that you covered your window with tinfoil.My impression of the product :Overall, great product. My room feels much cooler, and the added privacy is nice. The hardest part is getting a system established of cutting , and applying the he film.I recommend getting the mirror finished because your room will be much cooler.Also, don’t throw away your blinds.

compared to the reflective film available at home depot and lowe's this material is a lower quality, at a higher price. however i needed the 48" for a big window
