CREATIVEMUVO Play Portable Bluetooth 5.0 Speaker, IPX7 Waterproof for Outdoors, Up to 10 hours of Battery Life, with Siri and Google Assistant (Blue)

Picked up the black version and had it for a few months now and primarily for use in the bathroom. Some of us listen to music paired with the phones while other audiobooks relaxing in the bath.The unit itself is pretty compact with a rubber and mesh outer layer and it does float in water to some extent. On the outside in terms of buttons there is the power button which has a blue light on which indicates the status. A volume up / down button which when paired with certain apps like google music when double tapped can go back and forward a track. There is a rubber cap and under this cap which keeps things watertight is a 3.5mm jack and the USB type C charging cable.On either side of the speaker is a pair of silver passive radiators and the music comes out the centre mesh area. It is pretty omni-directional and fills a 5m x 3m room pretty easy, even with shower running. In terms of sounds its surprisingly solid, it is not going to put out massive amounts of sound, but relatively close by it works great for the music and audio books played back on it alike. There is a little bit of distortion if really cranked to max and with certain track, but largely a non-issue.It is actually water resistant as it has dropped in bathtub when some members are having a soak a few times and its been fine no problem after. Pairing the device is pretty each via Bluetooth and synced no issues with Android / apple devices alike. In terms of battery at 60% volume or so, it does go over 10 hours pretty easy. That will reduce at higher volume levels. When the battery goes low, the blue light on the unit will flash orange. With that said, charging via USB type C is pretty painless and quick, normally from dead to full Battery in a couple of hours.In all we are happy with the device. Sound output while not massive is great enough for us in a mid size bathroom at medium level. It looks attractive and discreet, is waterproof and the battery life is reasonable. In all we are really pleased with the device after few months of use.

Great and not that expensive.

I have used many different bt speakers before and this one is the most fiddly to connect, there are sequences of buttons to push, and it also has an annoying power up/down sound effect. Sound quality is quite good. Battery life is a lot shorter than the Bose speaker I own. Does OK for the office!

Back in the 80s/90s I remember Creative was the go to company for good quality sound on your computer. Was very surprised they are still around, and still provide excellent sound quality that doesn't break the bank. This portable speaker has some good sound and bass for it's size and price. Battery seem to be good, as just charged it once when I took it first time out the box 3 weeks ago and still have around 70% left, which equals around 4-5hours usage so far. Overall happy with this speaker for what it is used for the odd music listening in the kitchen while cooking.

The sound has to be 4 out of 5 as you could pay a lot more for a better base but I think you'll find it hard to find better clarity, usability and sound quality for the money. 2 speakers will pair together to give you great portable waterproof stereo sound without the low frequency or distortion that would just annoy neighbours.Charge cables are also supplied but no PSU. Any usb port on a laptop, PC or portable charge unit will work.To pair the speakers is simple, turn the first speaker on and after it plays the start up sound double press the power button, turn the second speaker on and after the start up sound, the first speaker will say "right speaker paired", that's it!I place a speaker on the floor at opposite corners of a garden corner sofa and only need the sound at 30% for some great drift away tunes (a bit of Gregory Alan Isakov, Joss Stone or Tracy Chapmen), IMO they help avoid the garden sound wars. These would work equally well indoors or for a picnic.

I have always had faith in Creative Audio products going back years. My dad owns a Creative Muvo 2c speaker and it was so great I decided to research creative speakers and stumbled across this Muvo Play. I fell in love with the design, I did my research, I watched video reviews, they were all making it out to be a great speaker so I purchased one.When I received it, the design was as beautiful as I thought. It has beautiful patterned fabric and the technology inside is really great. The Speaker has plenty of battery, Bluetooth 5.0, water resistance and stuff but the one thing that matters is sound and that let me down severely.For the size of the speaker and the rep it had amongst reviewers I was surprisingly disappointed with the performance. The speaker gets REAL loud but I find it severely lacks a warm bass despite the two passive bass radiators on each side of the speaker. I really enjoyed the idea of the 360° sound from the two speakers but they don’t seem to have any character.Comparing it to the Muvo 2c which is 3 years older, far lighter and smaller in size, has a smaller speaker with less output, the Muvo Play is not much better (??) I found that the Play has a Narrow sound with a little more clarity than the 2c. Where the 2c blows the Play out of the house is with the passive bass radiator and fuller more confident sound.For me the Muvo 2c was an easy winner, it is not as powerful or as modern but the sound is far better. The battery life is less and it’s not as water resistant. The Play has much less character and despite the added weight and chunkier “coke can” style enclosure it for me it wasn’t much better than a speaker literally half it’s size.The purpose of buying this speaker was for parties, travelling and use during a shower and so I thought the play would be a compromise between good sound and portability but turned out to let me down for its size.Also worth considering the Muvo Play was £37 and the Muvo 2c which is 3 years older is still holding out at £30 so it was slightly cheaper but in the end returned the play and Bought a Muvo 2c

Comprei numa promoção relâmpago por R$200, por este preço vale a pena. mas pelo preço normal de R$700, nem pensar. As Flip 4, 5 e 6 da JBL são opções melhores em potência e qualidade de som. Eu diria que a Muvo Play compete com a JBL Go 3. Ela é mais potente, porém o som fica estridente nos volumes mais altos. Isto e o preço sem desconto tornam esta caixa uma má opção.

Dentro da categoria de "mini caixinhas" considero que esse produto possui aspectos superiores as demais. Comprei já sabendo o que iria receber e não me arrependi! Produto super bem acabado, e com qualidade de som muito boa para o tamanho do produto! Certamente compraria novamente....

Högtalaren fick följa med ut på äventyr i lördags och den underhöll oss mycket bra. Dock saknar jag möjligheten till att arbeta med någon form av equalizer för att kunna höja bas, diskant och mellanregister. Pga det lite skräniga lite baslösa ljudet blir det en 4a.

Hatte nach einem handlichen Speaker gesucht, da mein geliebter Yamazoki Moktak nach vielen Jahren den Geist aufgegeben hat. Irgendwann ist der Akku dann doch durch, und da die Bauform einzigartig ist, sollte es etwas kleines sein, was ich jederzeit im Rucksack lassen kann. Finde den Muvo Play klanglich klasse, gerade beim Bass, er ist in ordentlicher Menge vorhanden, kann die negativen Reviews dazu nicht nachvollziehen. Wer den Bass kritisiert ist die typischen China-Böller gewohnt, die außer schlechten, überzogenen Bass nix bieten.
