I'll tell you that there are a TON of tablet stands on the market, and if you're reading this review, I'll tell you that oscillating makes all the difference. We have two daughters - our baby sits behind the driver's seat and our toddler sits in the middle forward facing. Since our toddler is the one using the iPad, and she doesn't sit behind a seat, oscillating was the only way to go. It's perfect - she can aim in the middle, or have it tilt from behind the passenger seat. The bracket is VERY sturdy. We tried out another holder that didn't oscillate and I'll tell you, it bowed every time we put the iPad on.... very concerning, very annoying. There was another one we tried that the clip broke on installation. And another one we tried that we felt there was too much tension on the springs, it literally felt like it could pop any second. This bracket is PERFECT. It handles the weight of the iPad, the springs are sturdy and flexible, etc.

We made the 6-hour trip to Legoland last weekend, and the kids used their Samsung tablets almost the whole way there. My 7yo held his the whole time, my 10yo tried to hang hers on the seat-back pocket... neither one seemed comfortable. Did some research on Amazon, ordered two of these holders and had them delivered to an Amazon Locker nearby. On the journey home, I installed these mounts, hoping they would be stable enough. The kids LOVED them. 1. Used these on a VW Atlas - attached to the headrest pillars without any issue, no wiggling, completely stable 2. Used these with Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8-inch tablets (2015) that each weigh about 12oz - no sagging, even with arm almost fully extended. Kids reported ZERO issues with shaking or vibrations, and we drove 75mph on the freeway 3. Easy to install, and generally easy to adjust... the ball-mount adjustment behind the holder can be tricky to tighten/loosen. We only plan on using these for long journeys, so they're not going to get daily use, probably only a few times a year. Bonus is that they fold down into a pretty compact unit, easy to store in a glove-box or door pocket. I paid almost $15 for these, now they're just under $12 - AMAZING value.

Ordered for an upcoming road trip. I have a Samsung Galaxy tablet with a big ole protective case. It still is able to hold on solid. Mou ting is super simple. The swivel is great. I went ahead and registered for the extended 2yr warranty that came with package. Price was a good price. Ignore the messy car in pictures 😅.

This tablet mount is pretty good, but not as strong as advertised. The weakness is that is entirely plastic. Indeed the neck of the plastic ball joint. It does hold your tablet firmly, the problem occurs when your vehicle goes over potholes and bumps. It's better than many tablet holders, but still not good enough.

Where has this been my entire parenthood? This is brilliant and the quality is amazing highly recommend.

It's not super solid feeling with the way the spring arms work. They wiggle around instead of moving in a reassuring straight manner. But that doesn't really matter. GOOD bits: - general functionality - extendable arm is handy and isn't too floppy - handles Nokia T20, except... see below - the plastic feels solid - clamp springs are plenty strong. When in place tablet stays in well but... see below - the headrest mount is solid and strong - nice design not tacky BAD bits: - spring mechanism doesn't have a tight sideways guide so it goes side to side when stretching out, not a problem really but just not a reassuring feeling and a little harder to open as a result. - BIGGEST ISSUE with the holder: mounting clasps are to small. Kids tablets often have bulky cases, ours isn't even that bulky but the tablet doesn't really fit properly as a result and can fall out. It's a shame and a silly oversight given the intended purpose of the mount.
