works well - much better than some of the other spray coatings. You can spray this coating as well, I have just brushed it on, and found it to the be the best way to get rust coverage protection. Lays very dark black and feels like a thick protective coating. It's a bit pricey but think its worth the extra few bucks given the quality.

It works great !!! Wire wheeled theses wheels then applied Eastwood Encapsulater then wait 4 hours then top coated with silver metallic paint per instructions, great product !!! I would recommend .!!!

I used this product for my annual touch up work under a camper and truck to hopefully extend frame life. I felt like I did a lot of painting and still only used 1/3 of the quart. So hoping a well sealed can has a good shelf life this will last 2 years for me. Easy to brush on. Dries more quickly than promised. I can’t speak to durability as time will tell that answer.

I bought his after a fellow street rod builder recommended it from his frame build. Two years later that one still looks great. I also got a great finish on my car frame with HVLP gun and no thinner needed; sticks like glue. I read all the reviews before I shelled out that kind of cash. The quality compares to the difference between enamel paint and epoxy paint. Get what you pay for. But you must prepare the surface and sand or wire brush most the rust away first. If you expecting flaked rust to be renewed your looking for a unicorn and will be unhappy. The only reason I've given it 4 is because I'm waiting for test of time to see if it peels or flakes over time.

This stuff is really quite amazing. I’m restoring an old truck that has a little bit of surface rust. Even in spots where the rest was a little heavier, it rolls or brushes right on and in 24 hours you have a perfectly primed surface to spray either black or other colors or you could just leave it alone. I’ve had it on for six months now and when I pressure wash the painted surface, it looks just like it did the day I painted it. I see no evidence of rust underneath at all. I’m impressed.

First time trying this product and I am impressed. A little bit goes a long ways. I had significant rust build up on the frame and chassis components on my truck. You just knock off the rust with a wire wheel and apply this product you won't be disappointed.
