Camera ACMFN-001 HERO3+ Gooseneck (Black)

so I bought a knockoff gooseneck clamp first and after a while the sockets started to get cracks and the balls would just sag because they weren't firmly held any longer. the clamp worked great. and then when I got this one I put it in the same clamp and it's been awesome. other reviews have had the clips break - I've been cognizant that this is a fragile part so don't work it too hard, also having it in that clamp and never removing it probably helps it's longevity. but it holds up to vibration so far in whatever I've clamped the camera onto. I approve it. also cheaper here than the gopro website. go figure...

This thing very sturdy. Will not move after positioning. I would highly recommend even to motor vloggers. I was amazed of how it worked.

I bought 2 of this, chained them and my camera is pointing right where I need to, no shaking, no fear that it will end up on the floor. The material used feels sturdy and durable, like some kind of hard plastic, but you can easily manipulate it and give it the shape you need.

The Gooseneck should always be used together with camera tethers for bodyboarding. I first used it for 2 hours per day for 10 days at Gold Coast, Australia. On my first corkscrew when I rammed into the sand camera-first, it snapped open at the ball and socket joint nearest the board and my Hero 3+ flew off with the rest of the Gooseneck! I was incredibly lucky to find it 3 minutes later with underwater footage of the rough surf! Since then, I've added 3 tethers, 1 to the middle of the gooseneck and 2 to the GoPro itself, and hit the ground another dozen times with the gooseneck flying off half the time but no more worries. It still gets 4 stars because it works really well stabilizing to whatever position you move it. I will get a new one for future bodyboarding trips and relegate the loosened set for gentler use though.

Fantastic product as always from GoPro. Can use with other accessories and mounts plus it doubles as selfie stick with the perfect angle.

I needed something that added a little height and would do well on an uneven surface. I used it with the GoPro suction cup and got the perfect shot.

I love mine, allows for some versatility, and it floats! Not incredibly bouyant, but saved my gopro from sinking to the bottom of a lake!

Ich habe es nun schon mehrfach benutzt und ich bin damit zufrieden. Die einzelnen Gelenke sind gegeneinander verdrehbar, haben ebenfalls einen hohen Verdrehwiderstand - das heißt man benötigt schon einen festen Handgriff und es verstellt sich nicht wieder von allein. Die Aufnahmen sind fest und können nicht demontiert werden. Außerdem eignet es sich nicht als 100% starre Verlängerung. Hab es öfters am Auto gehabt und leider wackelt die Kamera etwas mehr als sonst - langer Hebel eben. Was auch gut ging ist es einfach in der Hand zu halten und z.B. aus dem Fenster zu halten. Insgesamt ist es leichter als man vorerst vermutet und sehr robust - damit sicher auch gut geeignet für Helm-Mounting.
