Lee PrecisionLoad-Master Small Primer Feed

If you are still using the primer feed from several years ago you need to get the new one they made it much much better. Small changes barely noticeable but I now run thousands of reloads with no flipped or crushed primers.

Before these you couldn't prime on a Load master. Wasn't worth the trouble. Priming with these are now 100 percent perfect. Only problems I ever had was with Magtech spp.

Does the job as designed

I'm sure you have heard stories of the load master primer system not working but honestly once you get it set properly it runs fine. I have been loading fully progressive for awhile now with no issues. On 223 if you do your case prep you can fly threw some ammo quickly. There are some older YouTube videos showing how to smooth out your load master operation that are very helpful.

The Loadmaster Small Primer Feed Assembly arrived complete in its transparent red plastic case, with all parts included. The reason for taking off one star is that, the Primer Pin had rust on it. I had to get out some fine grit (I think I used 1000 grit) sandpaper to remove the rust and polish the pin so that it was clean, smooth and shiny. If you have a Loadmaster, you know that the primer feeder is the weakest part of the press, so you most likely want to make sure all part surfaces that come in contact with the primers is smooth. You also need to make sure the primer pin is smooth and that the pocket that it fits into is clean, so that the pin retracts completely between cases. I just wasn't happy I first had to remove rust before I even got to the smoothing part.

I'm a huge believer in Lee Precision's products. Lee pretty well beats out all other competitors in the price category. Quality does suffer a little but for those on a limited budget you just cannot beat Lee. All product that we have bought from them have worked and we have had a blast saving money on all our ammo.

This is the small primer holder and works just fine. Keep an eye on it to make sure you don't run out of primers.

Great replacement. The lee parts have worn over time for me and needs to be replaced every few thousand rounds.And I had a primer manage to go off as it was being seated and destroyed my previous primer trough.

Ricambio originale, purtroppo la LoadMaster ha questo componente come tallone d'Achille. Se vi da problemi 99% è il pistoncino che non è più perfetto, oppure la molla non più dritta o snervata o il foro da cui passa il pistoncino nella slitta di plastica nera che si è deformato.
