Dora and the Lost City of Gold: The Junior Novel

I want you to know that I think it's absolute sin that this book only has 3 stars before I left this 5 star review.This book is art.This book is the type of meta fourth wall breaking cut the crap and let's get real type of book I've been waiting for my entire life.This book pulls no punches. There's a song about digging holes for poop. Dora tells Sammy it's medically necessary. That's VITAL life information. This book could save lives with scenes like this.And that pivotal Boots plot twist? Blew my mind. I never saw it coming.I've never read aloud so many sections to friends, shared excerpts on Instagram, or shouted my joy to so many people. I want this book to hit the NYT list. It deserves it.It's art.Do it for Swiper.

My daughter and I saw Dora and the Lost City of Gold three times at the theater, and we both loved it. Got the chapter book, which has even more cute lines and moments than the movie. It has pix from the movie, too. If your child is a fan of the film, get this and enjoy!

This book is magical. I finished it in a day (which isn’t saying much)It’s so funny and breaks the 4th wall so much. I would highly recommend.

This book is actually crazy. Steve behling, the authors name isnt on the front or spine or back of the book, and I'd assume that's because he was smoking something when he wrote this. This book is crazy, in a good way
