Absolutely a great diffuser with perfect price point!!!
So I’ll start by saying I’ve been given zero incentive for this review. I’ll also say that I hesitated to buy this due to some of the negative reviews, but now wonder if some of those simply didn’t know what they needed, or were just negative . My hair is just below ear length, 3b curls, very fine, thin hair. I hate it. I live in Texas heat/humidity. It’s a recipe for ughhhh. Flat, frizzy, embarrassing hair.I’ve tried dozens upon dozens of curl creams/gels/mousse as well as experimenting with amount used, number of products used, you name it. I had a cheap dryer/diffuser. I absolutely hate my hair. Blowing it out and using curling iron/flat iron is a lesson in futility, except in the winter. I keep it short because that’s one of the only ways to halfway control it.My hairdresser is amazing and has brought it a long way, but she’s going on pregnancy leave and I knew I’d have an extended period between cuts and was nervous because typically 8 weeks between cuts is the absolute most I can go. So the search was on for a better system.I settled on three things. A better diffuser, clips for volume, and one of those little styling wands that look like several spikes in the shape of a curling iron (it is not a heat tool, but a tool you use while diffusing). GET THIS.I thought I was going to have to get a $100+ diffuser until I ran across this one. I liked the big diffuser bowl and research seemed to indicate that would be helpful. A couple of things:People are saying it’s loud and I don’t get it. It’s no louder than any other blow dryer I’ve ever had, and in fact, might be slightly quieter.People say it’s too hot. Again, where is this coming from? The medium heat setting is perfect. Doesn’t burn at all. I can hold it to my head for quite a few seconds (about 10-15) with zero discomfort. Some say the air escapes? It’s a diffuser. It’s supposed to have airflow. Once again, I don’t get what they’re saying. I like the airflow a lot. Some have said it’s (the diffuser part) too loose and falls off. It’s actually so tight, I had a tiny struggle getting it on. I assure you, it’s not going anywhere. In fact, I’d be careful about removing it so you don’t accidentally break the plastic. It’s extremely sturdy and the quality is excellent.I’m now MUCH happier and more confident with my hair. Honestly, the product doesn’t seem to matter all that much. Although this is not a product review, I’ll add my experience below if you care to keep reading. For fine, thin, Anglo 3b curls, I’ve learned that if I use about a quarter size dollop of curl cream or serum while still in the shower (after wash/conditioner), and plop it in my turban while SOAKING wet, it’s a great first step.I let that sit for about 5 minutes, then put a quarter size dollop of gel, brush it through (use a brush for curly hair!) then maybe slightly bigger than a quarter dollop of mousse, and scrunch. You do not want a heavy product. I’ll list my favorites and not favorites and again, consider your hair type!!!I then diffuse all over for about 1 minute, just to set the pattern, and put the curly girl clips in it while I finish my skin care and get dressed - about 15 minutes. I take the clips out and diffuse all over again for about a minute. I then use the wand thingy to finish it. That wand is amazing. It almost works like a curling iron but is not heated. You slide it into the hair, give it about a half turn, and diffuse over it. It takes about 3-5 minutes for my ear length hair. I like it because you can direct the hair forward or backwards, which I love for those unruly places. I use it primarily on top of my head and a little on the sides and back. Once dry, I use a little Ouidad humidity setting hair spray, and I mean just a little! My favorite products: the Lus system is pretty decent. I use the curl cream and gel. I like the smell, a little goes a long way.I also love Prose. It is shockingly great for setting the curl pattern. Not crazy about the smell but my curls last the longest with this product. I also like the Treluxe system. It’s the most complete system. To me, the best mousses are Color Wow Extra Large volume mousse (don’t overdo it) and surprisingly, Tresemme Flawless curls. The Cake system is ok. It’s also a complete system (all three products). It works fine, just not my favorite, partly because I just am not crazy about the smell.Moroccan oil curl defining cream is to die for on the smell and works fine, it’s slightly heavy so I make sure I water it down as I’m applying it in the shower.I can’t stand Curl Wow Curl shook (purple bottle that you shake before applying). I think it’s my hair type, because I know people with thicker hair and tighter curl patterns who love it. It left my hair heavy and waxy. Total yuck.I just used Ouidad curl gel today for the first time and it seems to be pretty good at setting the curl. Doesn’t really have a smell, which I’m fine with.Hope this helps someone. I aplogize for the length, but I like truly informative reviews.

Fantastic hair dryer - especially with the diffuser! Leaves curls defined.
Wow! The diffuser on this is amazing! I'm not sure why a few other reviewers are complaining about it not drying hair. No, there isn't air flowing out the back of the diffuser very much. But it doesn't matter. It dries your hair fantastically, leaving your curls well defined! It also dries hair quickly - with or without the diffuser. My only complaint is that on high heat, it doesn't take long for the diffuser to get too hot to touch so you can't remove the diffuser immediately after using it. It's been doing a great job for several months so far and seems like it will last many years. It isn't any louder than a typical hair drier and I appreciate having different heat and fan speed levels instead of combining them into one switch. It also has a cold shot button. Having a hanging loop is also handy since I have a hook on the side of my sink to hang it on. The hairdryer itself is reasonably small but the diffuser isn't so it's not a great travel hair dyer so keep that in mind if that's important to you. Although without the diffuser, it's small enough that I would travel with it. For curly or straight hair - this hair dyer is a winner due to the different heat and speed levels, how quickly it dries your hair and how well it works for curly hair.

Love this Blow dryer
This is a wonderful blow dryer. If you have thick curly hair this is the best diffuser I have ever used! Be careful with the diffuser, I accidently dropped it on the bathroom floor and it easily broke. I loved this set up so much I bought another without question. Great value!

Amazing blow dryer for lazy waves to curlier hair!
I have 2a-2b waves in my hair and have always dreaded washing my hair in the mornings because when I let it air dry...all I get is puff and inconsistent waves that are uncontrollable. I just look like one big poofy mess. I have bought other hair dryers before with diffusers but they were always expensive or the diffuser itself didn't hold that much hair. Enter the conair texture hairdryer...my god thing thing was a game changer for me!! There's honestly not much I can complain about given that the price is amazing, the results were amazing, the diffuser is generously sized and the heat and results were impressive. I am so glad I didn't blow another $150 for those fancy so called salon hair-dryers! I liked the fact that it had a good amount of settings so that I could keep adjusting as needed. My hair dried quick and not frizzy...I mean what else can you ask for?? If I had to be nit picky about anything, it would probably be the location of the buttons on the handle...when I did grab too hard, I did accidently press on the buttons and changed the settings unintentionally but it's such a miniscule problem that it doesn't even bother me. Great value for the money and Highly recommend!

great for ppixie diffusing
I love this diffuser shape. it blows air into the bowl of the diffuser instead of outwards. excellent for pixie diffusing. since most of the air exits out the back of the diffuser, rather than being directed to your scalp, I can use it on high heat without burning my scalp or getting overheated, even when i place it directly on my scalp. and because it doesn't blow hair up and out of the diffuser, i no longer have to turn my blow dryer on and off when i pixie diffuse. it's a little bit useless for hover diffusing even if you have it on high fan, but, that's fine with me.

Great for wavy or curly hair
I love this dryer! I have medium curly hair and didn't want to spend hundreds of dollars for a high end diffuser, so I tried this one. The diffuser makes my curls come out looking great! A little gel, a little mouse, diffuse and you're good to go. I liked it so much I bought a second one for my camper.

Diffuser is great
Great diffuser for my curly hair. If only I could also by the patience to spend the time completely drying it.
