The item costs twice as much as it does in stores, but it's important to mention that the product is erasable, and stains can be effortlessly removed through washing.

My 3 year old is at that age where he loves to 'write'. I have a writing space all set up for him, but this isn't my first time at the rodeo. I have an older child. I know that without fail he is going to colour where he shouldn't. Sure enough he did. His father was taking a nap and he decided to take the red crayon and re-colour my white wall and the base of my fan. I just took a warm dishrag and the colour came right out. I didn't even need 409. Just water.I do wish I had been able to find these in jumbo size as of course he snapped these in two almost immediately, but really that has been going on since crayons were invented.

They work as expected- draw well and smoothly. Best of all, though, it’s how easily they clean. You still need some elbow grease but it’s possible to get color out.

Yes they cost a few dollars more, and yes they are more brittle and will break more often then the old ones... but you will save yourself hours of frustration, washing, and scrubbing, not to mention the money you save by not needing to repaint. All you will need is a warm wet cloth and the washable crayon "masterpieces" will wipe off your walls effortlessly.

These really are washable! I have had to clean floors, walls, clothing, and items that weren't meant for coloring! I actually have a wall in my youngest son's room for his coloring ventures. I figured he needed a place to express himself and nothing is more fun than coloring on walls! I didn't think the wall would be a permanent fixture so washable crayons seemed the perfect choice. I used a magic eraser pad and the color easily came off. He likes to do master-pieces and if he messes up, he can easily start again. Great product and vibrant colors!

Washable, wipe-able, very very easy to wipe clean from floor, table, walls.Colors are nice and bright.Small enough for small toddler hands.It is a little too brittle, like many reviewers have commented, but it is not that bad. Make sure you don't let your toddler put these crayons in water or sit on them; else it should work fine. Water can make them really brittle.Applying too much force while coloring doesn't break them, which I feel is a big plus for kids.
