This product is NOT to be taken undiluted under the tongue; and to the person who figured out on their own they needed thyroid support then gave the product a 3 star review for having a bad reaction- this is a supplement; it is YOUR job to educate yourself, not the company who makes it. That is how supplements work in the USA.This is a great product and I have used it safely for years after doing considerable reading and consulting with medical professionals. My dosage is what works for me; it will be different for you but what I can say is that I definitely notice I need more sometimes. I've been sleeping better since I started taking this, and I take fewer naps. When I do wake up, even when it's earlier than normal, I'm alert and not groggy. Also, I use lotion once or twice a day instead of three to four times, my skin is better-resistant to cuts and scratches, and naturally-dark spots on my face have begun to fade.Note: This was happening before I started taking a multivitamin and a hair-skin-nails supplement. I've still yet to know if the three interacting with each other has made a significant difference.)

My natropath suggested i take during my radiation for breast cancer for the exhaustion and nausea. It really helped!!!!! Just 3 drops/day 3 times/week!!!!

Even though I take synthroid medication, I take Iosol Iodine which has helped the function of my thyroid. I trust this brand of supplements and highly recommend it for anyone with hypothyroidism.

Bought this product as I figured out on my own that my thyroid needed support. I didn't come across a very informative web site first as I wished I had. Because about into the 2nd week of using this iodine as it directs on the bottle, I started getting headaches, dizzy spells and fatigued!! I wondered what in the world was going on?!!?!!! And the only thing new I was taking was this product. I went on line and found the web site where another woman who was using this type of iodine had the very same problems as I had with it. In a nutshell, the window for supplementation for iodine is very narrow; you can overdose on it. (it seemed to had become toxic in higher doses!!) The web site states that we need to get it naturally as in red marine algae and in eating fish with fins and scales... no bottom feeders. There are some other foods that contain it, but these two I remember the web site stating. Another way to use supplemental iodine is to paint it on, which is what I just did. So I'm hoping that this doesn't pose any problems for me, as I had not touched this since about 2 weeks ago. Also, the thyroid needs L-Tyrosine to function properly. I hope this helps someone else. Because of what happened to me; I can only give it 3 stars and I cannot recommend it. The company itself did ship the product out in a timely fashion. But in the end, they need to educate themselves more on the usage of iodine and thus inform their customers about it... to use caution with it, if not drop this product altogether.

I've seen a few mention the awful taste with iodine droplets...but to me it gives the water some flavor and I quite like the taste. I use it daily....would buy again, thank you
