Great product, did the manfrotto plate well. The other positive reviews on here are spot on.

As my most recent Camera purchase does not have an external hand grip/battery pack as my previous camera did, the need to remove it from the oversized plate of my tripod mount to change the battery was becoming more of a bother, and with the desire for long shoots such as an eclipse having to take the plate off just to swap batteries, I needed a solution. This works perfectly for my needs. The mounting plate is similar, though not as high quality as my Manfrotto plate, for another tripod and camera mount, but it is made of metal and seems sturdy enough and is 100% compatible if I want to swap tripods. The included threaded screw let me thread it onto the larger plate with no issue and it is secure. However, it does need to be placed close to the edge to allow for the lock which does protrude about 2-3 mm below the rest of the mount (see picture) which does not pose a problem to me but may inform your purchase as the mount is not completely flat on the bottom. In conclusion, it does what I want it to do, solves a problem that has caused me frustration, and allows me to continue to use my geared tripod head with my camera with much less annoyance for a price that I just can't complain about.

I’m pretty pleased with this quick release clamp and plate. While I could’ve succumbed to the my-d850-needs-a-100$-accessory fallacy, I decided to go with this inexpensive option. It fits perfectly, well-made and a great value for the money.

I recently purchased two of these, and I couldn't be happier with my purchase. I use one on my tripod and one on my gimbal, and they make it incredibly easy for me to switch my camera back and forth between the two or use it standalone. The quick release works well.I use it on my tripod with a small easel paint box for plein aire….outdoor paintings.

I have a number of Manfrotto tripods and heads, and cameras with the standard Manfrotto 200PL quick release plate. I purchased a new tripod with a video head and need to adapt the large Manfrotto 500PLONG video plate to a quick release 200PL so all my gear will interchange with it. The same item from Manfrotto, the 323 quick release plate sells for $95 at my local camera shop. I'm glad I ordered this as the quality for the price is unbelievable. The plate has a smaller style thumb screw on the back from what is in the product photos but once it's on, I have no need to take it off. The plate is 100% interchangeable with my Manfrotto heads and the 200PL plates are interchangeable with the quick release base. The price of this kit is LESS than a Manfrotto 200PL plate alone! One complaint is the lock lever to prevent the release switch from accidentally releasing is not as tight as the Manfrotto counterpart. The Manfrotto one requires intentional and deliberate action to move the lock whereas the one on the Utebit version moves very easily. Outside of this minor observation, the quality is excellent far above and beyond what the low price would justify and it is 100% interchangeable with all my other Manfrotto components so I am a very happy customer! 5 stars, 100%
