*UPDATE October 20th 2023* I wanted to edit my review to say since we have used the plug in + refills, we have had no bites. Today I have ordered another one for the upstairs. There are a lot of small black flies around, they are around all the time, more so with the humidity. These little flying insects do bite, as do mosquitos. My bedroom downstairs is still working well, and I have been keeping mine on day and night. The refill won’t last as long doing it this way, but the cost is nothing compared to risking a hospital visit for us. I still highly recommend them, and still continue to have the refills on subscribe and save. Considering my husband is allergic to any bites, from house flies, mosquitos, it’s a nightmare to get anything to work. Because epipens do not last long, we had to find something that works in our home. The sad fact is, bites are very serious for my husband and over the past few weeks have seen an increased amount of mosquitos because of the rain, climate, and humidity. I am 100% saying these plug ins work. The images you see of my husband were taken two days because I sent off for the plug in, it was our last resort. That morning he was bitten six times on the eye lid, and cheek, it was awful. Every night he takes antihistamines, good job he did, otherwise I hate to think what he would look like. Thank goodness this pushed me into getting a plug in, never used one before, except abroad, I never thought about these in my own home. My husbands face is back to normal now, before the plug in I was bitten six times on the arm, the images you see is going down now. I wanted to show the images just to say how much these plug ins have helped us both, now with climate change, there are so many mosquitoes, flies, ants, goodness knows what, they are always in the home. When the plug in arrived I de bugged my bed, washed everything and cleaned my carpets and washed the curtains. When the plug in arrived, it does stated to turn off in the day, and leave on through the night. I wanted to leave my plug in for the first two days on all day and night. The days and nights that followed neither of us had any bites, so far so good. The actual plug in at review was around £11.99 and refills £5.99 at review. I have the refills on subscribe and save now, for my husband at least, these save him from a trip to the hospital each time. I can honestly say this make mosquito and fly plug in is exceptional, and have the proof that these do work. Does the job no bites or anything didn't see anything in the room either. Only thing is it comes with UK plug not sure how many are bought for use in UK, wouldn't fit into travel adapter either as the 'earth' pin hits the earth pin of the socket, fits upside down but suspect not recommended, finally cut off earth pin and worked fine

Absolutely brilliant. We were getting bitten to death! Plugged this in and mosquitoes disappeared. Odour free and refills are good too. Will be using this again next summer.

These work well enough but the liquid is prone to leaking from its bottle. We’ve stopped using the liquid & just use the heating function for the tablets which is fine. It’s done the job for us in Greece to keep the mozzies at bay. I wouldn’t buy another, though.

I purchased two of these, along with refills after reading some reviews which complained about the length of time they lasted. I did not need the refills. I plugged one in each bedroom of our villa and I think I only remembered to unplug them four mornings out of the 14. There was a mm of liquid left on the last morning so I would have replaced it that day if we were staying longer. The one in my kids room ended up laying on its side on a painted shelf and ate through the paint but that's no surprise, reed diffusers and essential oils do that. I always left them upright but, kids.

Seems to work well. Will only work the right way up otherwise container leaks

It was 25 celcius in the shade and it was hot when I went abroad in September. I took 2 of those devices to use in the room where I slept for protection. There was a ceiling fan in operation but no air conditioning and the devices were pretty effective against the garden mosquitos which were all around the location where I stayed. It is a 2-pin socket system so I needed the attachment to convert the 3-pin into a 2-pin overseas.

Absolutely useless. Bought this for a week in Crete and used it exactly as they said. Had it on for 4 hours before we went to bed and through the night but still got bitten by mosquitos! In the morning it was as if the mossies were laughing at it - some very live ones in the room. My previous one, used in the same hotel, killed everything. It was so bad I didn't even pack it to bring it home for a refund - straight in the bin in Crete. If you want a bite-free night buy something else... Also beware that this comes with a UK plug only - no adapter for Europe.
