Got these to hang cast iron skillets in an antique booth. I needed to try a different retaining method as I used zip ties to hold the hooks in position. This was very hard & time consuming. I got the silicone white grommets (a different item) and these hooks & retainers. The combination works really well for the heavy skillets. These black plastic retainers are VERY good, yet easily removable, as we ALWAYS have to reposition hooks. The metal spring ones do not work as well as these & I wish there were more in the pack. Lots of variety in the hooks, sizes, and are well made. I'd buy again when I need more.

Crazy good assortment for the price! It came with a nice array of hooks, which I used to organize my craft wall. The hardware itself is very sturdy, and even with a lot of weight, they don't seem to bend at all. They are definitely quality hooks. I'm a big fan of the assortment, as well. I wasn't sure what exactly to get to fit my needs, and this assortment kind of showed me the ropes when it comes to pegboard. I know which pieces to look for now if I ever need more. It'll come with everything you need, just make sure you check your pegboard hole size. I bought the wrong size for mine, and I'm making do. If you get too small of hooks, they aren't very stable at all, though they will go in and stay. I wish I had thoroughly read the reviews before because I now see that the provided plastic pieces allow you to stabilize the hooks, but I threw them away the day I got them. Don't make that mistake! Looking through the other reviews, it seems like those who used the plastic stabilizers had good luck with them, so they probably work well. If you don't know the size of the holes of your pegboard, this package will probably work well for you, whether or not they are 1/8 inch.

I really wanted to love these hooks. They're cheap, there's tons of different designs, and a lot of them. And, fundamentally, they do get the job done--you can put them in a peg board and hang things on them. The trouble is just that they weren't super sturdy. Even with the included clips, they still moved around a bunch in the peg holes (I have 1/4 inch holes). They swing left and right, and I can't really get them to stay sticking out straight the way I'd like them to, no matter how I adjust the included stabilizing clips (those black plastic things). I ended up returning these and appreciated that the company provided a quick refund.

This fence was my last effort to keep my husky mix from eating the raspberry bushes... After multiple tries with wood and construction fencing this worked. I used it to surround the raspberry patch and it has worked as a deterrent, and looks nice in the yard. The fence is attractive and light weight but still sturdy for what I needed it for. If he ever becomes determined enough I think he could knock it down. so it wouldn't be good for larger dogs that actually hit a fence running. I am happy with it though and it was worth the money.

A nice set with a good variety of hooks. With a set like this most people will find they prefer some hooks over others, depending on their needs, but this is a good way to have plenty on hand for various items. And you can always go and buy separate specific hooks once you know which types you like best or have the most need for. Being 1/8th of an inch in size means that if you are using pegboard with 1/4 inch holes, you will need to use the little black plastic clips that are included to help fix them in tightly and stop them from falling out. Quite a few reviewers mention these aren't any good, or simply don't know how to install them - which is likely the issue here, and understandable if you are new to tools and DIY etc. When installed correctly the black clips work perfectly and do exactly as they are meant to. Glad they included a bunch of these in this set. All in all I gave these 5 stars as they are durable, work very well, and the variety is nice.

These aren't bad for what they're made for hanging smaller hand tools. Definitely a good choice for those using 1/8" pegboard. For those of us Using 1/4" pegboard they aren't that great. I purchased a 20PC Blue Hawk 267958 peg hook kit from lowes for $7 before buying this set so I'll be comparing them to this Stanley Hardware set in this review. Pros: Everything has at least 2 mounting pegs for holes. Great variety of pegs for different tools.. Comes with the little black cross hooks to stabilize the hooks. Cons: Made for 1/8" Pegboards so they're smaller and too loose for 1/4" see the attached image for how loose they are. Poor quality control on the "mult-tool rack" and "pegboard tool holder" pieces You can see in my pictures that the "mult-tool rack" was welded together with the hooks at varying depths and angles. I had to use some pliers and my vise to bend them all straight and managed break 1 of the welds while doing so. Also had to bend a couple of the "pegboard tool holders" so they were horizontally & vertically straight. I didn't know what to hang with all of the small single bend hooks. Not enough to hang all my wrenches nor do I feel the need to hang them. I'd rather see more plier holders or "multi-tool racks". The Blue Hawk pieces only had a single mounting point, but with they're cross hooks installed they don't budge at all! The cross hooks were much more sturdier than the Stanley set. Both cross hooks stayed in fine. I'd buy another set of the 20PC Blue Hawk 267958 peg hook kits any day over these again. Granted I have 1/4" pegboard, which those are made for! Would love to see a 1/4" version of this same product rather than marketing the same set for both boards!

We moved into our house about seven years ago. When we moved in there were two pegboards on the walls in the garage. I had not paid much attention to them until my collection of tools started to run out of storage space. I decided to put the pegboards to use and ordered a package of the National Hardware 51-piece pegboard hangers. The difference is amazing. I can find things without having to try to remember where it is stored (or hidden). It is so much easier to put the tools back in place once I am finished. The tools look orderly and neat. The hangers make great use of wall space that would otherwise not be utilized. The hangers come in various shapes, are easy to place on the pegboard. The hangers can be moved around quickly and easily to make the best use of the space. The only thing I had to figure out was the 33 black plastic brackets which came with the hangers. These are intended to hold the hangers securely in place. They work great once you understand their purpose. Good hangers, good price.

Ordered this after reading through the reviews. I am giving this 5 stars because of price and what is provided. It's a great deal. Several posters have written about issues using the 1/8 inch pieces on 1/4 inch boards. I have a 1/4 and don't see it as a major problem. They provide black plastic pieces that you can insert into the peg board to stabilize any hooks that may be problematic. Since no one else mentioned how to use them, you insert the ends into the peg board and against the hook you are working with. The fit isn't always exact (there is an arc in the center of the plastic pieces that should go against the metal of what you are stabilizing), but it works. Again, for the price, this isn't a big deal. I included a pic of one of the plastic pieces installed. I plan on picking up another peg board and another box of these. It's a great way to organize all your stuff on the cheap. If you picked up a set and have a problem with them coming loose, use the plastic pieces.

Great set with so much variety of exactly what you want! I will say, I am not using a pegboard so some pieces don’t fit perfectly in, additionally, I can’t comment on whether or not they fit a standard pegboard.. they are very sturdy and seem to hold the weight I have on quite well. I can see them holding quite a bit of weight because the metal really won’t budge. I even got a bonus piece (2 of something I should have only got 1 of) plus all the other amounts were correct(Thank You!). I do recommend this set as you get a lot for a fair price.
