I bought this adapter for my 8SE and didn't know what to expect since there were no reviews but the item arrived quickly and when tested, worked perfectly. One thing I do like about this adapter is that it came with a cord adapter as well so that you can connect the telescope to another adapter that uses what I think is a 1/8" male plug. This means that if you happen to have a regular 19v AC adapter with that size plug, you can use it with this as well or if something happens to the car adapter on here, you can go buy another one for much cheaper. I am happy with this purchase since I can now do long sessions on the scope without having to run of the hideous AAs.

It works fine for my use, but there was nothing in the description that mentioned that it was a two-part cable and you have to connect the two halves to get 9' or close to it.
