Good choice for painting
Hard to find flat brackets that are not galvinized. Galvinized metal sucks for painting. Stainless is a little better, but still had to use an etching primer. Needed to paint some flat "L" brackets as well. Was able to find plain steel for those! Takes regular primer and paint much better. They were advertised as suitable for welding. Would have preffered plain steel for the "T" brackets as well, but very hard to find and usually too expensive when you do.
