Perfect for my use
Not long ago I had all my old metal ductwork in my attic replaced with the newer flexible ducts. However the new ductwork went right next to the attic light blocking off one side of my attic. Bought one of those twin socket adaptors and two of these flexible ones. Put the original bulb in one side of the twin adaptor, screwed one of the flexible sockets into the other one to get twice the length. Then I simply ran it over the top of the duct to light up the other side of my attic. Works great and saved the cost of an electrician.

High quality!
Using it for my grow light, is way higher quality than I thought it would be.

Great for price
Flexible and sturdy. Word of caution, with the longer extension - be aware of the torque this may put on the socket of some fixtures, especially if you extend out to the side (perpendicular) to the fixture socket. It works great! In front door entry sconce for Christmas - I have a disco light bulb that needs to be in an overhead position for the best effect, and this extension was just perfect! I’ll paint it to match the fixture’s color and then it will be really great!

What I was looking for
This works as I was hoping. Bought it for a light fixture outside that I bought a security camera for. I needed the camera lower not to catch the roof of porch. This does just that and holds it in place. I read some reviews that said it barely held a regular lightbulb in place. So I was concerned about that, but figured for the price I'd give it a try. Well it it's very firm and holds the security camera in place perfectly. It hasn't moved at all, and it weighs quite a bit more than a light build. I mean it's a camera. The only issue was shipping. It took well over a week to get here. But I'm happy with it.

Just enough of an extension
Needed an extension for my porch camera so I could get a better view. These extensions are so convenient and easy to use.

Functional as extender for power but, Ability to hold shape is less then helpful for my needs.
Now for context I have a bathroom that does not have a functional fan and has a recessed square box on a slanted roof with a broken and now removed fan and a light socket. So I'm not technically using this for its intended purpose which is presumably to just extend a very simple light bulb in a better direction or out where It normally wouldn't reach. So my intent was to install this into the light socket and pull the socket LED white ring light/fan combo I bought backwards. Ama upwards, and flip on the fan mode to siphon the air through the outlet vent while the attached ring light kind of just had the box which is silver in color bounce it the light back down into the bathroom again. All well and good of an idea right? Well I go to bend it in reverse and come to learn there is no way it's going to hold that fan the direction I want it to go. For a normal light bulb it would definitely have worked perfectly fine and it's not to shotty of quality either. However if you intend to put nearly anything else besides a normal LED 💡 on it at any actual discernible angle past directly downwards from the socket you are plugging this into. You will see sagging, Gravity will easily overpower this things ability to keep its shape with any extra load on it. So like I said in the title it definitely works perfect for getting the electricity to the thing you want powered. Being a light bulb or a fan or some sort of odd specialty light socket adapter or device. However, it is not going to hold any weight on its own power. It looks like it would with the metal bracing around the middle cabling but it is absolutely not strong enough to hold shape for anything past the weight of a basic singular light bulb.Just something to note if you're planning to use this that is not just simply trying to make a recessed light not recessed anymore in order to get more light in your kitchen with little work, or something like that.TLDR:Good thingsWired fine and powers bulbs or fans or even a two prong socket adapter to charge things from a light socket just perfectly. It will work for pretty much most people's intentions with the socket extender.Less good thingsCan't hold much weight sideways or in a U shape or really any direction but down. It's not as strong built as expected but it's Not exactly flimsy either. Just don't expect it to do anything to crazy like run a power saw or hold up a light socket fan and you'll get what you ordered 👍
