The price just went up from last week, and this is no longer under Prime. What happened?

I just logged into my Amazon to order my SF Pods and noticed the huge price increase also. I did not place my order and (if the price stays this high) will not be ordering again. There's another brand that's similar called Happy Belly that is the same as what the price use to be AND is made out of the compostable materials. Costco is the way to go now when purchasing SF Coffee pads. Sad because this was a convenient option.

Which is stronger, the SF Fogchaser or the French Roast?

Good Afternoon Canis,My name is Mayra Flores, an employee at Rogers Family Coffee Company, the manufacturer for these San Francisco Bay products. We consider our San Francisco bay Fog Chaser a medium roast. However, we roast darker than most so it would tend to be a bit darker. Our San Francisco Bay French Roast is a deep dark roasted coffee and is stronger than our Fog Chaser. If you have any more questions and/or concerns about our products please contact me at mflores@rogersfamilyco.com or our customer service line at 916-258-8000. Thank you and have a great day.

If the plastic ring and the mesh bag are not bio-degradable, What is biodegradable? The Coffee?

As of early 2019: these k-cups are ENTIRELY compostable now, not just 97%. Every part of the cup is made from plant products, including the formerly plastic ring. Same with the bags they come in, and the cardboard box around that is of course recyclable. NO PLASTIC WHATSOEVER. They're not quite there yet for gov't certification to say they are fully so for backyard composting, but it's likely almost entirely so, and if you have a service that picks it up, you should be 100% good to go.

Why did Amazon stop selling this directly and make it ineligible for Prime?

Until Amazon can get it's stock replenished, you can go to www.Costco.com and get a box of 160ct one cup pods for $55, including shipping (if you're a non-member; if you're a member, you'd pay around $52).
